 Dear Ben,
Last summer, I visited Hue, a big city in the Centre of Viet Nam with my parents. We
went there by coach. We stayed in a hotel in a busy street. There’s a supermarket next
to the hotel. There’s a park and a theater on the corner of the street. We visited some
interesting places such as Dong Ba Market and Thien Mu Pagoda. The weather was
fine during the trip. However, it was cooler and drier than in Ha Noi. I really enjoyed
the trip. It was more exciting than I expected.

One day a lion was asleep and a little mouse ran over the lion’s back. The lion
woke up and put his foot on the mouse. He opened his mouth and wanted to eat the
mouse. “Oh, king,” cried the mouse “I am so sorry! I will never climb on you again!
Maybe one day I will also help you.” The lion laughed at the silly mouse but he
still let him go.
One week later, hunters caught the lion with a net made of thick rope. They tied
him up into a tree. The little mouse heard the lion roar. He ran to the tree and
climbed up to the trap. He said, “I am going to help you!” He slowly chewed the
rope with his teeth and set the lion free. The lion and the mouse were friends
forever after.
