SYNOPSIS
1. Enhance students’ understanding and knowledge on organisation
and management, elements and infrastructure of Information
Technology (IT), Information Systems (IS), types of computer-based
IS, and Organisational IS used in organisational management;
2. Take a practical, managerial-oriented approach, demonstrating that
IT can be provided not only by IS departments, but by end users
and vendors as well;
3. Highlight the concepts of knowledge management for building an
effective IS for digital firm.

- Many business organisations rely on Information Technology (IT) in
providing them with strategic advantage by facilitating problem solving,
increasing productivity and quality, increasing speed, improving
