1 - INTRODUCTION
1.1. Reason for choosing the topic.
The 21st century, with the knowledge economy that requires humans to survive,
must learn and learn for the rest of their lives. Hence, the learning capacity of a
person must be enhanced by first learning the "learning to learn" and the
teacher learning "learning to learn". So the teacher must be "the teacher of

resolution of the problems that arise in practice is a capacity to ensure the
achievement in learning and life. Therefore, it is important for students to
identify, address and solve problems encountered in their studies, in the lives of
individuals, families and communities, not only in terms of teaching methods
Which is set as a goal of education and training. On the other hand, to well
implement the innovation test the evaluation of student learning outcomes. The
Ministry of Education and Training advocates the use of objective tests in
examinations and examinations. Objective testing is an objective test of
objective knowledge. Through the multiple-choice questions and exercises,
students have the opportunity to reinforce the knowledge they have learned in
the textbook and to help teachers and students adjust their teaching and
learning to achieve higher results.
1.2 Research purposes:
Learning is a long and non-stop process, no matter how smart you are, but if you
do not study, do not cultivate knowledge continuously, intelligent is just like
decoration. However, you need to understand that not every day to go to
school, listen to the teacher lecture, or to be born and then you will have
knowledge. That is completely wrong thinking. To get the knowledge you need
to have the learning and self-learning skills, those skills will not teach you but
you yourself must be aware of the importance of knowledge that training
yourself. So what are these skills, you can train yourself those skills or not? As
a teacher who teaches English at An Nga Secondary School, I am aware of the
importance of methodological innovation. Especially the "student-centered"
approach, so I went into the study "Method of training students self-study in
English 8.9 Nga An Secondary School". This is just a personal experience,
we are looking forward to the help and comments of our teachers and
colleagues.
1.3 Research subjects:
My research subjects are grades 8A, 9A, which are two classes with a good rate of
good students. They are equally good at teaching at Nga An Secondary School
to find out the causes and solutions for the broadcast. Commander and train
self-study of junior high school students.
1.4 Research Methods:
1. Student investigation methods such as student exchange, student meeting, and
teacher attendance.
2. Experimenting, collating, analyzing, comparing actual data with reasoning.
2. INNOVATIVE CONTENT
2.1 The rationale.
2.1.1 Self-awareness in learning is the ability to take responsibility for their own
learning. Learning self-esteem is concerned with the learning process and the
learning content. Self-discipline in learning has a positive influence on learning
outcomes. Self-learning is considered as one of the most important factors to help
learners not only have good academic achievements but also have deep knowledge.
We have to admit that students can not learn everything in school, so the teacher's
task is not only to communicate knowledge in class, but also to teach students how
to learn, learning methods, learning aids. Self-learning to learn how to self-examine
the knowledge you have learned, learn more deeply what you have learned in the
classroom, and reduce the attitude you expect from the teacher. For English subjects,
it is important to help students develop self-study skills. English requires highly
motivated learners because of the diversity of linguistic knowledge and language
skills. Therefore, there is a need for a combination of classroom learning and selfdevelopment at home.
2.1.2. As a teacher who is dedicated to the profession, when confiding with
colleagues to teach English about the problem of student self-study today, most of
the students said that students are now very lazy compared to students in the past
Because the information technology thrives, they spend a lot of time on Facebook or
Zalo Rather than spend time learning. That prompted me to think, to explore the
training methods or promote their self-study.
2.2. The status of the research problem.
2.2.1. The real situation.
Many years of direct teaching English in middle school I found:
a. Advantages:
- The school's equipment is fully equipped such as sub-table, pencil marker,
magnetic board (equipped for all classrooms).
- Helpful contributions of the management and colleagues in the school.
- The Internet has provided a lot of useful material for teaching electronic lesson
plans.
b. Difficulties:
- Teachers will spend a lot of time accessing the Internet to find information for the
unit. The time to do the topic is too little, the survey students are not mass nature.
- The majority of parents work in flood-prone fields with farming and many parents
go to work far away so they are less interested in their children's education.
- Students are not aware of self-learning.
- If I properly assess the students in 8A classroom, I only have 5 of the 34 students
who are really self-aware in their studies and achieve high results in the subjects.
Most students do not voluntarily complete homework assignments that the teacher
4
requires to do at home, they wait for the next lesson to know for sure whether the
teacher is scoring points for the assignment or not. Began to do. They are active only
for point-based activities. The only concern is the point. Points are factors that
motivate them to work. They only care about which parts will be tested. They have
not seen the importance of activities in a class. They are just worried about the
learning outcomes without realizing the value of the learning process. The most
common situation is that they do not review the daily lessons but wait until the test
is over and ask the teacher to limit the lesson because the students are not up to date.
In a nutshell, they only learn what parts are tested and are afraid of low scores. The
actual situation shows that self-discipline in learning is not available in all students.
In addition, they are only interested in learning outcomes but do not see the
importance of learning process. Therefore, there should be active help from
teachers. They must be clearly and systematically instructed in self-learning so that
they have the right learning style for the subject, to help them see the learning
outcomes that result from the learning process, and help them to self-assess their
learning.
2.2.2. Results of the situation.
With the situation as described above, through the school survey I found:
+ Particularly through the quality survey of students in grades 9A, 8A before using
this method as follows:

- From the above situation, in order to improve the quality of teaching - learning
English in secondary school, I have implemented "Methods of training self-study
of students in English 8.9 Nga An Secondary School" And applied to teaching to
gradually improve the quality of teacher teaching and student learning outcomes.
2.3. Solution:
2.3.1. For teachers.
2.3.1.a. Preparation:
Teachers need to invest a lot of effort and time to collect materials, images
related to the topic, constantly update information to support the lecture. Before
preparing for a lesson, the teacher must carefully study the content of the lesson,
then supplement and expand their knowledge of the content to be taught, prepare
some teaching aids in the direction that the teacher Want to develop post. Today with
the advancement of science and technology, the audiovisual media is increasingly
modern to be applied for teaching tasks such as pictures in beautiful colors or
electronic media, like audio tape, video tape, film, lights, computer. In addition,
teachers can use other means to search in school, family
5
Or you can make your own in teaching. With such preparation, new teachers can
perform classroom tasks as facilitators, facilitators, motivators, mentors, and
referees in exciting exploratory activities. student. In addition, the teacher provided
early-school textbooks based on a textbook-based program, a thematic program
administered by the Department of Education, a self-selected teacher self-selection
program, introduced Some books for my students to buy (or photocopy) for self
study, find out more at home •
2.3.1.b. Go to:
- In English 8, the section on the topic is shown in the Getting Started section, the
purpose of this section is to get students interested in the topic of the upcoming
lesson, and to revisit the knowledge they have learned. Take a new lesson or let the
teacher create the communication needs needed for the activities of the new lesson.
- Getting Started usually takes a short time compared to the whole lesson, but it is
very important. It has the purpose of preparing the psychology, the knowledge for
the new lesson, stimulating the relevant knowledge of the relevant students needed
for the new lesson, stimulating the new lesson that creates the atmosphere between
the teacher and the teacher. ash. So to do this, teachers need to collect pictures
instead of books in order to make them attractive, ask old knowledge of old yards
related to new ones, play some small games to exploit the knowledge they have.
Available by students and lead into new articles. When doing this part of the teacher
should pay attention to some points sau: It is possible to use both English and
Vietnamese, giving students the opportunity to ask their teacher or ask each other to
inspire and motivate their students. Always be concerned with the psychology of
your child's age and interests to make the right tactics.
- For example, in the Getting Started section of Unit 3- English 8, I put the picture in
the lecture file (in case of power failure, I enlarged my photo with 6 pictures in the
book, painted it beautifully) and gave the students Kim's Game (What's the girl
doing in each picture?)
- In this way I have attracted the attention of students and stimulate the demand for
communication in English for children. They can look at drawings or pictures and
think of activities in English quickly, giving quick sentences.
+ She's washing dishes
+ She's cooking
+ She's making the bed.
+ She's tidying up.
+ She's sweeping the floor.
+ She's feeding the chickens.
2.3.1c. Introductory (Listen and read):
Introductory material can be an introduction to relevant content of the lesson topic,
which may include vocabulary, grammar, or language functions through dialogue.
Teachers need to coordinate with pictures and visual aids to clarify the context,
context of the conversation, thereby clarifying the meaning of the new word or
function, the use of the new structure. Attention enables students to discover new
information on their own through open tricks designed to help students understand
6
fly more actively and actively. For example, to introduce the structure "Used to" I
used the picture in the Speak section with the question: How did the people travel to
work 100 years ago? When they look at the picture, they easily realize that people
used to walk in the past to work. At this point all the students are looking at the
picture, the good kids will immediately think of how this activity is expressed in
English, the weak student can also present in Vietnamese and want to express in
English through this vivid picture. Thus, the new structure appears lightly, easy to
understand and attract students to participate in activities.
+ They walked to work.
+ They used to walk to work.
2.3.1.d. Teaching speaking skills (Speak):
- Teachers need to regularly use pairs or group exercises to give them more
opportunities to use English in their classrooms. In addition, teachers need to
organize activities to be emulated between groups, creating a dynamic learning
environment. With words that students want to express in English but can not, can
allow students to use Vietnamese in particular when students say wrong, incorrect
pronunciation, the teacher does not interrupt for the students speak naturally. , Then
fix the error. For average students teaching aids. With such preparation, new
teachers can perform classroom tasks as facilitators, facilitators, motivators,
mentors, and referees in exciting exploratory activities. student. In addition, the
teacher provided early-school textbooks based on a textbook-based program, a
thematic program administered by the Department of Education, a self-selected
teacher self-selection program, introduced Some books for my students to buy (or
photocopy) for self study, find out more at home •
2.3.1e. Teaching listening skills:
- Teachers should perform three pre-listening and post-listening sessions and should
be grouped by student level, combined with pictures and games to be heard gently.
For students to listen to the end of a turn, do not break. The simple listening sections
(name, age, classification) should be good for students to explain (describe, explain,
compare).
- For example, to teach Listen-Unit3-English8, I have prepared some of the
following utensils: tapes, plates, garlic, green peppers and some collectibles from
the magazine " "Family" and "Vietnamese Women" ... With this preparation, when I
put things out, students can see what the content of today's lesson and what they are
attracted to the new lesson lightly.
2.3.1f. Teaching reading skills:
- The teacher also performs three teaching steps (pre, while, post-reading). Teachers
should simplify the lesson by giving some simple exercises such as giving some T /
F statements, rearranging the sentences according to the sequence of the story.
(Ordering), using pictures and asking questions to students to guess the content, ask
the students to ask some questions they hope the reading will answer. In order to
avoid boredom, teachers should change the techniques to match the content and
style. The readings in the 8th grade book are relatively long with plenty of new
words, so it is important for students to prepare their homework. Teachers should
7
specifically instruct students what to do before school. New articles according to the
teacher's intentions such as composing new words according to type, searching for
topics, readings, actual contacts.
- For example, to teach the Read-Unit8, I do not use common T / F statements,
comprehension questions (Lucky numbers). Have the students work in two groups,
on the board. After reading the content, the two groups continue to add comments on
the board to complete and each person in the group is only on the board write once.
That is, it attracts most students to participate actively.

2.3.1g. Teach writing skills:
- The teacher also performs three pre, while, post-writing. Teachers can stimulate the
interest of students in writing using visual aids, illustrations on the topic of writing,
setting up a case for writing, discussing article types: a leaf Letter, a story. Teachers
need to do good sample instruction through reading assignments by having the
students speak in pairs, grouping through a number of questions, playing some
language games, telling a story. Through which the teacher creates an Outline or a
Key Expression on the board, asks the students to use the outline or key board as the
basis for the writing.
In addition, the preparation of students is equally important in the writing.
Therefore, the teacher should suggest the questions in advance so that the students
have time to think about, ask more issues related to the topic, orient students to the
vocabulary to serve the content needed. Assign students homework assignments to
improve their writing skills.
- Example 1: Before teaching Write -Unit 8-English 8, I ask the students to come
home to prepare in advance:
+ Put the line out for an informal letter
+ Prepare the words that describe the house and countryside.
What kind of facilities are there in your neighborhood?
8
+ What things in your neighborhood do you like best?
- Once prepared in the student's home, the teacher can give the student a quick write
and no need to revisit the Unit 5. This will save the teacher money. It is time and
students can participate actively in answering questions positively because they have
prepared themselves in advance, and so also the teacher asks the students to answer
questions, before writing very fluently for the I have the vocabulary that children
prepare.
- Example 2: Before teaching the Write -Unit 13-English 8, I asked the students to
go home to prepare to search on Google or through books on 5 topics divided into
groups:
+ A village festial
+ A school festival
+ A spring festival
+ A harvest festival
+ A flower festival
When prepared in the student's home, the teacher may prompt the student to write
part 2 after giving a "report about the rice-cooking festival" to the student and
sticking to the standard document. Stay home to write a complete "a similar report".
2.3.2. The combination of teachers and students:
2.3.2a. Understanding and classifying students:
First of all, to ensure the effectiveness of the measure, I contacted the school for a
grade book in the past school year, combined with early school year survey data to
determine the student's educational situation. Next, I classify the students' grades for
future grouping.
2.3.2b. Grouping at class:
Once I got to know my students' academic strengths, I contacted the homeroom
teacher and presented their knowledge of the English language. I have divided the
study group into classes. Each group places students with good academic
performance from good to poor. Between groups of equal qualifications (not too
disparities) to avoid this group overrun the other leads to an uneven class in the
post-construction speech. Each group nominates a team leader who has the best
education. Team leaders have the following tasks:
-Group management in the process of learning English.
-Help, guide difficult exercises that your teammates do not understand or do not do.
- Contact the teacher and ask the teacher to explain difficult problems in learning the
group's English subject.
- Group learning is very rewarding, students with weak or weak learning English are
welcome to join the group movement, giving them more confidence in speaking and
discussing with others. You are in the group with the desire to contribute their ideas
to the team to compete with other groups. During the lessons I also care about the
weak kids, giving them the opportunity to answer easy questions and motivate them
to speak by giving instant points to encourage them. In addition, the leader team is
responsible for checking the knowledge of the group as well as studying the old
lesson, preparing new lessons in class. During group discussions, the team leader
9
guides the members to discuss, each member must contribute an opinion depending
on the level of the student.
2.3.2c.How to study at home:
- After classifying home study groups according to each population area. I directed
them to schedule a two-week session to study the group without affecting the main
course. They worked out homework together, composing new songs.
- In addition to the content delivered in class, I have plans for groups, that is to
choose simple topics, close and close to the knowledge they have learned to draw
lots and write letters or drawings. Only (mindmap). After drawing the topic, the
groups discuss and contribute ideas to create a text or a map of creative thinking and
beauty. During the writing or mapping of topic-based theses, students can contact
me for more difficult words, phrases, I give them a time period of one week, then
collect the items of the Groups and dots. When I write, I write down specific errors
on an additional sheet of paper and give the groups self-completion of the article or
mind map. For edited articles, students will rewrite their work. For mind mapping
after editing, students will carefully store them. Every two weeks, I come up with a
new topic and revisit writing or keeping a student's mind map. From then on, I will
take timely action against the hard-working students.
2.3.2d. Self-test, self-regulation:
- For English subjects, it is very important for students to self-test, self-regulation.
Therefore, I always create opportunities for students to self-assess and evaluate each
other, to compare and compare your ideas with their results. Any activity I give
students comments before coming to the conclusion. In the process of self-study,
each child draws his own way to learn effectively for specific parts of knowledge. I
let the children choose what knowledge they most enjoy learning and rewrite their
learning. Then I arranged in groups. Each group will summarize, rewrite the group
presentation and a friend will present how to learn about that knowledge. The whole
class discusses ideas. Thereby, they learn how to learn from you and learn how to
learn for yourself. They have a lot of practical writing about their methodology
Here's how to do Effective Reading, How to Write Essays in English, How to Learn
Listening, How to Learn Vocabulary, How to Learn Grammar, How to Learn to
Speak (I attached their articles in the appendix). The articles have shown a positive
reflection on their self-study process. Pre-class discussions on learning experiences
help them understand how to learn English. From there, they have their own
learning method.
2.3.2e. Assist students in obtaining the practicality of the subject
Self-efficacy depends on the level of excitement and confidence, and the ability to
learn independently depends on the student's knowledge. If you make them see the
reality of the subject, they will definitely enjoy the subject, make them want to learn
and learn by themselves. They have read, heard many comments. In the newspaper,
radio that English is the most popular language in the world, is the common
language of communication from people from many different countries. It is a top
priority when recruiting and when you have solid English, you have succeeded in
half to get a job. However, the comments do not convince the children persuasively,
10
they still have the attitude to wait for the University and then calculate. Therefore, it
is important for them to understand the ultimate goal of learning English is to use
this language to communicate. I encourage them to watch cable TV as they will
learn real English in life and they will realize that they have to improve their
vocabulary and grammar to understand the information quickly; This stimulates
self-study in English very high. The TV channels they like best and share in class
are NHK World. This is a Japanese TV channel, but English-speaking broadcasters
are quite good and talk slower than the BBC, and English subtitles are included,
helping them to catch information easily. In particular, they love to watch cartoons
on Disney Channel, or movies on Star Movies, Star World, HBO. The reality of the
subject also affects the children clearly in the Listening & Speaking class. The
ability to use language for communication is most commonly practiced in these
periods. The Curriculum for Listening skills that I choose for my classmates is
Tactics for Listening (Jack C. Richard). This is a curriculum that provides English
language learners with very practical topics such as work, housing, business,
cooking, TV, friendship, vacation, news, opinion, the Celebrities, food and nutrition,
dilemmas. The whole class heard, understood and responded in English or half
Vietnamese. He was very natural, very interesting. They repeat the sentences in the
lesson or use their own words to answer the questions. They mimic the way native
speakers speak, and capture vocabulary very quickly in Listening. In Speaking
classes for students to present to the class, you listen and ask questions, they always
learn how to communicate in English as well as self-reconsider yourself to
overcome the problem. Lack of knowledge. Here are the self-commented comments
about yourself: Mai Thuy Trang: "I feel very happy and exciting when presented in
front of the class and was" torn ". In the process of hearing you say, you also draw a
few things Or as some new words and things in life that I have not experienced. I
draw some experience for myself when presented. Do not use words that are too
"academic", so try as simple as words and grammar as possible. After a few times, I
feel my vocabulary is weak, I need to cultivate more. " Emperor Mai Thi Luong:
"When speaking in front of the class, I discovered something that I did not notice
before: vocabulary is too weak. When you ask questions, you hear but do not know
which words to answer. I have to rush home to rectify immediately. Right now, I'm
improving my vocabulary and pronunciation so that I have the opportunity to do the
next time. " Pham Thi Huong: "The presentation in front of the class helps you use
the vocabulary effectively, answer your questions quickly, the mind is working to
the maximum. When presented, help him more confident in front of the crowd,
know where he omitted: fluency, the number of words. Moreover, when you listen to
your presentation again, learn your vocabulary, pronunciation. Thereby, I find that I
need to supplement the vocabulary, learn pronunciation, try not to not translate
machines from English to English but to transfer the structure. "By communication
activities in Listening & Speaking hours. In combination with encouraging them to
watch cable TV at home for both learning and entertainment, I helped them see the
reality of the subject, helping them get interested in the subject, which Helping
children to self-enrich their knowledge.
11
2.3.2f. Summing up-Commendation-Commendation:
At the end of each semester, the class teacher and I count up the quality of student
learning in groups in the English language to commend and reward the best
performing and the most outstanding individuals to inspire. Their mental state of
learning.

- The children have better results, the number of students decreased, the number
of students good enough to increase. There are first year students in average
education, but the end of the year has been quite good results. Their enthusiasm
helps them to achieve the desired results. There are cases where I feel very surprised
about their achievement. At the beginning of the year, when I was in class, I asked a
few simple questions, but after only one semester I had answered the questions at a
more difficult level.
- Based on the results of homework, tests and class, and their opinions on the
process of self study, I have the following results: 100% of the students understand
how to study in the subject. English and self-awareness in learning have a positive
impact on learning outcomes: 90% of students actively complete homework, read
materials, and self-study to expand their knowledge; 10% of students have not
completed the exercise in time, or did not perform well; 85% of the children have
improved in reading comprehension. They all say that reading is not just about
doing things but also knowing many things in different fields; 80% of them
mastered English essay writing. However, they all claim that writing essays takes
too much time, and that they are still wrong in sentence structure and use of words;
80% of the children have improved grammar. They all commented that they read the
theory but did not remember the rules. The most feared are the phrasal verbs.
Compared to the previous year, the results of this year's English language
performance increased from 43% to 60%, and scores improved overall. Although
not all of them achieve high academic achievement, self-study helps to reduce the
disparity in academic performance among students in the classroom. They all
understand the learning outcomes are due to the decision-making process. They
recognize the importance and necessity of self-study as the key to success in
learning. Self-study also allows them to have a positive attitude towards their studies
12
and responsibility for their studies and the ability to work independently. They have
the ability to control their own knowledge. They have the ability to reflect on their
learning progress positively through their experiences in language and language
skills. They have their own learning method, effective, suitable with the
requirements of the subject. Teachers must actively find support materials for the
program early in the year. Providing early materials helps a lot in consolidating and
supplementing knowledge, giving them confidence over the course of their studies.
Self-study does not mean giving children the materials and letting them learn for
themselves. Teachers have to follow specific guidelines, monitor the process of selfstudy, segment the specific knowledge that makes them quickly complete. In part,
they will not have the feeling of boredom. If you have difficulty, check that you
have not met, will give the test but provide another form of work, avoid feeling
boring. In the learning environment, perceptions, beliefs, and student understanding
are important determinants of the learning process and the end result. Based on the
results of homework, tests and class, and their opinions on self-learning, I have the
following results: 100% of children understand how to learn the language. He is
aware that self-discipline in learning has a positive impact on learning outcomes.
90% of students actively complete homework assignments, read materials, learn
more to expand their knowledge, 10% of students did not complete the task in due
time, or did not do well, 85% of them improved in reading comprehension. They all
say that reading is not just about doing things but also about the good things in
different areas, 80% of them have mastered English essay writing. However, they all
claim that writing essays takes too much time, and that they are still wrong in
sentence structure and vocabulary, and 80% of them have grammatical progress.
They all commented that they read the theory but did not remember the rules. The
most feared are the phrasal verbs. Compared to the previous year, the results of this
year's English language achievement increased from 43% to 60%, and the overall
grade score improved. Although not all of them achieve high academic achievement,
self-study helps to reduce the disparity in academic performance among students in
the classroom. They all understand the learning outcomes are due to the decisionmaking process. They recognize the importance and necessity of self-study as the
key to success in learning. Self-study also allows them to have a positive attitude
towards their studies and responsibility for their studies and the ability to work
independently. They have the ability to control their own knowledge. They have the
ability to reflect on their learning progress positively through their experiences in
language and language skills. They have their own learning method, effective,
suitable with the requirements of the subject. Teachers must actively find support
materials for the program early in the year. Providing early materials helps a lot in
consolidating and supplementing knowledge, giving them confidence over the
course of their studies. Self-study does not mean giving children the material and
letting them learn for themselves. Teachers have to follow specific guidelines,
follow the process of self-study, specific knowledge segments to make them quickly
complete each section, they will not have a sense of solace. If you have difficulty,
check that you have not met, will give the test but provide another form of work,

avoid feeling boring. In the learning environment, perceptions, beliefs, and student
understanding are important determinants of the learning process and the end result.
2.4.2. For yourself:
- In order to create a positive learning environment, the teacher plays a very
important role. At the main class students are active, but before writing lessons,
teachers have to spend a lot of effort and time preparing teaching materials,
directing methods and organizing learning activities. Suitable for each student
object.
- Class teachers need to focus on training self-study method for students: if they
train the learners to acquire skills, methods, self-learning habits and flexible
application of what they have learned in new situations, Self-discovery and solving
problems will give them the desire to learn, stimulate the ability inherent in each
human.
- It is advisable to coordinate the organization of classroom activities, enhance
individual learning, and collaborate with collaborative learning.
- Combining teacher assessment with self-evaluation: To promote student
motivation, teachers must guide students to develop self-assessment skills and
enable students to participate in assessment each other.
2.4.3. For colleagues:
When I exchanged experience idea with my colleagues teaching the same subject,
I received a consensus and the results are very positive.
2.4.4. For schools:
With the use of this method I realize that it contributes significantly to the quality,
good pupil ratio of the school.
3- CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS.
3.1. Conclusion:
Teachers play a very important role in developing students' self-learning ability.
Promote self-discipline in the learning of students need direction, test from the teacher.
Teachers should be active in directing students from the beginning of the school year.
The purpose of language teaching is not only to help learners gain knowledge of certain
language and language skills, but also to help learners become independent learners.
English proverb: "Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish,
feed him for a life time’’. The result of learning is self-learning, self-learning,
knowledge discovery independent. When you have the ability to learn for yourself in
English, you will definitely have a better way of learning other subjects, and you will
know how to prepare for higher education later on. The self-study of the children with
the guidance and testing from teachers to help them more active in the subject, training
them to "rely on themselves as the key, reluctant new people thanks to other people".
This personality will create the inner strength of the students, helping them become
independent learners and improve the quality of education. In the process, we help
students develop self-discipline in learning, we also help ourselves actively and selfconsciously in teaching.
3.2 Recommendations, suggestions:
14
- For English subjects is a specific subject, to achieve the requirements, I hope the
school as well as the department leaders should have their own audiovisual room, the
number of students should be less than 30 students / per class.
- There should be more and more good student exchanges between professional
clusters and an English Speaking Contest should be organized to create the distinction
of the subject.
Above is my initiative to help them develop their self-learning ability to achieve
better academic results in English. However, in the process of implementation I have
only applied for 8A students not applied to the basic classes for many objective reasons
as subject requirements for two higher classes, More specialized classes (5 periods per
week), facilitating the guidance, testing, assessment and exchange of ideas between
teachers and students. In addition, the materials provided to them are mostly
grammatical, reading comprehension and essay writing due to objective reasons in the
tests and the examination focuses more on these sections. Finally, I look forward to the
feedback of your colleagues to improve the quality of teaching and learning of the
English language. I sincerely thank!.
