The line graph describes the amount of renewable energy consumption and major
sources from 1949 to 2008
In general, though the level of consumption in different kinds of energy varied,
hydroelectric power was the most popular source through years.
To specify, after a rapid rise from the lowest point of about 1.8 quadrillion to
nearly 3 quadrillion for the first twenty five years, hydroelectric power saw a
significant fluctuation between about 2.2 and approximately 4 quadrillion in final
years.
By comparison, the level of consumption in wood remained nearly unchanged at
1.8 quadrillion for the first twenty five years or so, followed by a rapid climb to a
peak of around 2 quadrillion in 1990 and then a slight downward fluctuation in
final years.
Meanwhile, although biofuels and wind appeared after 1980 and began with
nearly zero point, they began to gradually rise to the highest point in the final
period. Specifically, while the former grew to nearly 1.5 quadrillion in the last
year, the latter reached approximately 0.7 quadrillion.
In brief, due to a growing trend in all types of energy throughout the entire
period, the total proportion of consumption climbed over the years.
The line graph illustrates the amount of
consumption in four kinds of food per person per
week from 1979 to 2004.
In general, although the level of consumption
varied according to each type of meat, chicken was
the most common choice in most years.
To specify, fish which was the least favorite dish
nearly stabilized at more or less 50 grams per
person per week over the years.
Meanwhile, beef and lamb followed quite a similar
downward trend over the years, but the former
