A. The objectives
- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to further practice in kitchen and
living room vocabulary and prepositions of place. They’ll use the language to
talk about the positions of each item in the kitchen and discuss to arrange
furniture in the living room.
b. content: Vocabulary: dish rack, cupboard, counter, lighting fixture, stove,
sink, rug, cushions, shelf, etc
Grammar: Prepositions of place
Expressions: Let’s + infinitive, I think we should put ..., The TV should be on
the shelf, etc
C. Materials: Pictures, OHP, transparencies,
Work arrangements: Individuals, pairs, groups, T-WC
Anticipated problems: Students may speak in Vietnamese when discussing
and reaching the agreement where to put the furniture.
