A. The objectives

to understand how to describe the positions of the items. They’ll use the
suggested words/ phrases and the picture to write a description of the kitchen
and a room in their house.

D. Procedure
I. Warmer
Kim’s game
Ask students to look at the pictures
What’s this? It’s a sink
Look at the pictures in 30 seconds.
Close your books.
Now write down as many of the
items in the pictures as you can


remember.
II. Checking the old lesson

is a towel rack

counter, to the right of the window
and beneath the shelves.
On the shelves and on the counter
beneath the window, there are jars
of sugar, flour and tea.
In the middle of the kitchen, there
is a table and four chairs.
The lighting fixture is above the
table and (directly) beneath the
lighting fixture is a vase with
flowers.
