Should students spend much more time on history and literature than on science and mathematics? (Học

In my opinion, depend on the subjects and fields that students like, they will send more time for those. We
can’t force them to focus on only history and literature or science and mathematics.
It is the fact that each subject has its own interesting features. For example, history provides information
and knowledge of events in the past as well as educate students about what the world and their country
have ever experienced. This subject help them memorize their ancestors. Literature is usually boring to
some students but inspires many others. Literature also builds student’s perceptiontowards the world,
gives them the taste of the their own language and of the other languages. The reason why students
usually get bored with these two subjects is that the teaching methods are sometimes not very interesting.
On the contrary, science and mathematics require students to think logically and do more exercises,
which encourages them to think and deal with the problems, which rarely makes them fall asleep. Also,
science and mathematics are usually significantly evaluated by parents, then they stimulate their children
to concentrate on natural science subjects rather than social science subjects.
However, children are not always keen on studying science and math, many of them prefer history and
literature. These 4 subjects are equally important. In conclusion, which subjects students are interested
in, let them spend time to study and research about it, but still keep learning the others.

Theo ý kiến của tôi, phụ thuộc vào các môn học và lĩnh vực mà học sinh họ thích, họ sẽ sử dụng nhiều
thời gian hơn cho những môn học và lĩnh vực đó. Chúng ta không thể buộc họ tập trung vào lịch sử và
văn học hay khoa học và toán học.
Sự thật là mỗi chủ đề có các tính năng thú vị của riêng nó. Ví dụ, lịch sử cung cấp thông tin và kiến thức
về các sự kiện trong quá khứ cũng như giáo dục học sinh về những gì thế giới và đất nước của họ đã
từng trải qua. Môn học này giúp họ ghi nhớ tổ tiên của họ. Văn học thường nhàm chán đối với một số
sinh viên nhưng truyền cảm hứng cho nhiều sinh viên khác. Văn học cũng xây dựng nhận thức của học

sinh về thế giới, mang lại cho họ hương vị của ngôn ngữ riêng của họ và của các ngôn ngữ khác. Lý do
tại sao học sinh thường cảm thấy buồn chán với hai chủ đề này là các phương pháp dạy học đôi khi
không mấy thú vị. Ngược lại, khoa học và toán học yêu cầu học sinh suy nghĩ một cách lô gic và thực
hiện nhiều bài tập hơn, điều này khuyến khích họ suy nghĩ và giải quyết các vấn đề, điều hiếm khi khiến
họ thấy buồn ngủ. Ngoài ra, khoa học và toán học thường được các bậc cha mẹ đánh giá một cách đáng
kể, sau đó họ khuyến khích con em mình tập trung vào các môn khoa học tự nhiên hơn là các môn khoa
học xã hội.
Tuy nhiên, trẻ em không phải lúc nào cũng quan tâm nghiên cứu khoa học và toán học, nhiều trẻ em
thích lịch sử và văn học hơn. 4 môn học này đều quan trọng như nhau. Tóm lại, môn nào mà học sinh


quan tâm, hãy để họ dành thời gian để học và nghiên cứu về nó, nhưng vẫn tiếp tục học những môn
khác.
