Topic 1. 4things with money
In the morden world, money is very important . with me.
There are 4 things I can do with money
Firstly, spend it.
With money, I can buy necessities such as: food and
drink, clothing, footwear, cosmetics, .. and other personal
belongings.
With money, I can do what i like. I can go dining,
shopping or, travelling . I can take part in courses such as
in English or dance.
With money, i can implement my wishes. For example,
since Ii was a child, I have had a wish to buy a gift for my
mother with my first paycheck. With money, i can have a
good life. In the future, I will get married. Of course, I will
have to buy a house and take care of my mother
Secondly, save it.
I can put your money in the bank and get interest on it.
Thirdly, share it.
With money, I can do charity work. I am a Buddhist and
always believe that: ‘you reap what you sow’. I want to
share my money with others who are very poor and can’t
earn enough to get the most basic things like food or
clothing.
Finally, invest it.
I can grow my money by investing in projects or
businesses.. Maybe, when we meet in the future, I will be
a boss
That is 4 four things i can do with money. Thank for
listening

Topic 2. Bad manner phone
As information technology has developed, mobile phones,
especially smart phones, have become a necessary
device in our lives. We use mobile phones for
entertainment, communication and work. But there are
some problems with the use of phones nowadays. In
public places, people play games or use the phone
without a headset at a, loud volume,. When talking to
others, some people talk and laugh loudly or sometimes
when a call comes in, they don’t answer and leave the
phone ringing, which can annoy others.. While eating or
dating, using the phone is rude to the people with you. To
improve , we should use the phone subtly, avoiding
nuisance to those around us, using the phone only when
necessary, and we should ask permission before using
the phone to avoid being impolite

Topic 3. Compare traveling by car and plane
The fastest mode of transport is by plane. A flight can
also be easier to schedule. Besides being fast and
convenient, research has shown it's also safer than other
modes of transport, especially travelling by car. Traffic
jams aren't only found in Vietnam, but everywhere. If you
travel by car, you can get in traffic jams, and accidents,
especially during peak hours or holidays. Morever, you
also get some other problems such as being stopped by
the police or getting, carsick. But if you travel by car, you
can go anywhere you like, stop anywhere (of course long
as it is legal), anytime you want. When travelling by plane,

you have to follow the schedule. If you want to see
scenary close up, travel by car. But if you want a bird's
eye view, travel by plane. With the car, you cannot travel
overseas, whereas with plane you can. However, before
boarding the plane, you have to do a lot of procedures
and it is also the most expensive way to travel. Whether
travelling by car or plane, there are advantages and
disadvantages. So, people should choose whichever is
most suitable for their trip.

Topic 4. Event sport
The most exciting football match I have ever seen was 3
years ago: Vietnam versus Thailand in the My Dinh
stadium in Vietnam. Vietnam were in red, while Thailand
were blue. The referee signaled the start of the match.
The first half ended 0-0. Just 10 minutes into the second
half, , Cong Vinh passed Thailand's defense and scored
the first goal for Vietnam. The spectators cheered loudly ;
it was very noisy. But just a few minutes later, Thailand
scored an equalizer. The Thailand supporters stood up
and cheered. After 79 minutes, Cong Vinh scored a
second goal. By the end of the game is no more goals
were scored. Vietnam team won 2-1, taking Vietnam into
the semifinals. This was really exciting football match
because Thailand were considered stronger than Vietnam
, but they still lost It was great! I felt very happy. I hope
that I will see a football match like this again.

Topic 5. Ideal house

My ideal house is a place where I will always get comfort,
peace and rest. What will my house be like? Let me tell
you about it. The location of my house would be very
important, neither too far nor too near a city. I already
can imagine a lake with a two storey house and a great
balcony covered with windows, like a glasshouse. There’s
a huge garden in the front where could I grow fruit trees
and spend time in the summer. The house has four rooms
with a a well-furnished kitchen and modern bathroom
facilities. The living rooms are comfortable, and cosy,
with soft furniture and , warm, vivid colors. It is elegantly
furnished with sofas, chairs, a television with sound
system and a picture. The dining-room is nearby. It’s
spacious with a big round wooden table and comfortable
chairs. Everywhere there are beautiful flowers and
windows so that it always smells of fresh air. From the
dining – room, a spiral staircase leads up to the second
floor. The bathroom is well-equipped and spacious. On the
second floor, there are 3 bedrooms -, two for each of my
children and a big one for me and my wife. Every
bedroom is beautifully decorated, with air conditioners
and windows looking out. I love animals, so I will have a
Pit Bull dog. I think my wife and childrens will like it too. I
hope my ideal house will come true some day, not in my
dreams. Well, time will tell.

Topic 6. School summer holidays
In Vietnam, school summer holidays last about two

months, from June to mid August or early September,
depending on the region. What would happen if school

summer holidays were shorter? No; I dont imagine what
happen, so I really disagree that: ‘school summer
holidays should be shorter.’ Students need a break! At the
begining of a new school year, students are excited to go
back to school and see their friends, but towards the end
of the school year, students feel annoyed and bored with
school. They don’t concentrate as well as at the
beginning of the year. This is especially true in summer,
when many schools don't have air conditioning and can
get extremely hot. After the summer break, camp and
other fun activities, they are ready to return to the
classroom and see people they havent seen since June.
Many people say that: ‘students forget what they've
learned in school over the summer’. But I disagree. I think
in summer holidays, students can learn and develop their
creative thinking abilities by playing games and engaging
in extracurricular activities.

Topic 7. Somthing you tried but wasn't able to
If anyone ask me: ‘Have you ever failed ?’ I would not
hesitate to say: ‘Yes. I’ve failed.’. I tried to dance but I
wasn’t able to When I was little, I watched dancing shows
on TV, and dreamed that one day I would dance like that.
As I got older, I took part in dance courses in professional
dance studios. But as soon as I tried to dance, I found out
how difficult it is. I danced like a robot,. The other

students on the course progressed quickly., I tried very
hard, spent a lot of time practicing, dancing anywhere,
anytime, learning from the internet and, from my friends.
I did everything possible to improve my dancing. But

although I tried very hard, I still couldn’t dance and,
always forgot dance moves. Every time I danced, people
laughed hard, perhaps because I danced so badly.
Eventually, I concluded that dancing just wasn't for me. I
decided to stop and will never try it again. I truly failed. I
have learnt from experience: ‘Dont try to do what you
can’t”.

Topic 8. Talk about your diet
Hi, today I’m going to tell you about my diet. Our bodies need
nutrients from many different sources of food, so I usually eat a
variety of food. I have always eaten 3 meals a day: breakfast,
lunch and dinner. For me, breakfast is extremely important. It is a
big source of energy after a night's sleep. I often eat bread with
milk for breakfast. The remaining two meals are usually eaten on
time and are nutritionally balaned. Rice is main food that provide
a large amount of starch and vitamins. I always eat plenty of
vegetables,. because eating fruit and vegetables is good for our
health. These kinds of food supply us with vitamins, and
minerals.. They help keep the body healthy and protect us from
cancer. I also eat meat and eggs. They contain not only high level
of nutrients like protein, and calcium, , but also substances such
as fat and, cholesterol. However, it’s harmful if we eat too much
of these. I eat fast food as little as possible. It’s really not good for

your health Unfortunately I can’t eat some seafood such as crab,
shrimp and horn snail. because they give me allergic reactions
and stomach ache. Finally I drink plenty of water, several times a
day. Water helps purify the body. Although my diet is reasonable, I
still can not improve my body. Perhaps, this also depends on
exercise and rest.

Topic 9. The celebrity

The celebrity I met is David Beckham. David is an English
professional footballer who has played for the world’s
most famous football clubs such as Manchester United
and Real Madrid. In 2004, he was named by FIFA as one
of the 100 greatest living football players. . I was very
surprised to meet David last Sunday in Royal City. He was
wearing a shirt, jeans and black shoes. He looked very
elegant. He was very tall and handsome I felt very happy.
I greeted him and he smiled at me. We had a short
conversation in English. my English is not good, so I had
to try to use body language and asked him to speak
slowly. We talked about football and I suggested
Vietnamese food he should try Although , he is a very
famous, he is very friendly, has a good sense of humour
and gets on well with everyone. Of course, I didn’t forget
take a photo with him to post on Facebook, and request
his autograph. Then I told him that I like and admire him
very much.

Topic 10. the person you love most

Of all the members in my family, I love my mother the
most. I love her, more than anyone else in the whole
world. My mother’s name is Nhiem, she is 58 years old.
My mother is tall and rather thin. She is a warm, kindly
person with an oval face and long, -silky hair. She is a
farmer, so spends the majority of her time working on the
farm,. but she always tries to spend time with us as much
as possible. She is friendly and kind, because she
believes that you reap what you sow. As a consequence,
she has been loved and trusted. My father died of heart

disease when I was 14 years old. My sister and brothers
are married and have left home to raise their own
families. That leaves only two people at home:, mother
bringing me up. I know she loves me very much, and I
love her. She is used to staying up late and getting up
early to earn money and take care of me. She is strict,
but thanks to that I have become a good person. I adore
my mother for her caring, loving, adorable behaviours
and wit. She is the person I can share everything with and
that's why I love her so much. My mother has faith that I
will do well in life, so I will try to study hard to succeed for
her..
