WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:
• Do not light any appliance
• Do not touch any electric switch
• Do not use any phone in your building
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a phone outside the building
• Follow your gas supplier’s instructions
• If your gas supplier cannot be reached, call the fire department.
• Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer, service agent or the gas supplier

insulation in between

- 1 piece of removable stainless steel heat radiant type grates
- with 3 heavy-duty stainless steel bar feet & 1 drain hole on bottom
- Electrical requirement for solenoid 0.0101kW (110-120V/1ph/56-60Hz) or (220-240V/1ph/50~60Hz)

Remark

1. If the pilot flame does not light up, do not turn on the Main Cock Handle.
2. If the pilot flame does not light up, press the red button of the Flame failure device (Safety valve) for 60
seconds. If it still fails, check the Automatic Pilot Sensor and the Flame failure device (Safety valve) and
inform the qualified service agent to take appropriate action on maintenance and replacement of parts.
3. Shut off the pilot light when it is not in use for an extended period of time.
4. The exhaust system must be turned on whenever the appliance is operation.
5. Always pay attention to any gas leakage of the Main Cock Valve and connection joints of the gas pipes. If
there is leakage problem, shut off the main gas supply valve and then inform the qualified service agent for
maintenance.
6. When the appliance is idle, clean the body & oil tank and always keep it tidy.
7. To avoid damages on the roaster body, do not strike bulky and heavy objects onto the roaster.
8. Make sure the gas supply of the appliance is turned off before carry out any maintenance work.

Note: Disconnect the power supply to the appliance before cleaning or servicing, if applicable. For
technical support, please refer to the page of Technical Service Contacts.
General Maintenance Instructions –
1. Examination of venting system for roaster, if applicable.
2. Check main cock handle, pilot light, flame failure device (Safety valve), pilot lighter & thermocouple
are firmly fixed.
3. Clean the power burner and avoid blockage in the air holes.
4. Replace lava rock on the detachable rock holder if they are worn out.
5. Clean & wash the heat radiant panel when it is completely cooled down. Beware not to wash immediately
after using or when it is still hot to avoid damage.

This appliance is only for professional use and that it should be used by qualified people.

1. TURN ON
a. Before lighting the appliance, ensure all gas valves are in closed position.
b. Turn on the gas valve and the Pilot Light (5).
Turn on the Pilot Lighter Valve (8)to establish the manual flame by the Pilot Lighter (9) and press the
button of the Flame failure device (Safety valve) (6) to light the pilot with the manual flame. Once pilot
flame is established, continuously press the button of the Flame failure device (Safety valve) (6) for 20
seconds.
c. If pilot flame is not lit, wait for 5 minutes before attempting step (b)
d. Turn on the Main Cock Handle (7) until a desirable flame is obtained.
e. Hang the food on the Meat Hanger and immediately close the Movable Cover (3) to avoid the heat lost
from the inside body and thus more gas will be saved.
f. The Movable Cover (1) can be opened for inspecting the hanging position and the state of cooking food.

2. SHUT OFF

a. For temporary shut off, just turn off the Main Cock Handle (7) and leave the Pilot Light on.
b. If the appliance is not in use, turn off all the gas valves.

Important Notes –

Do not turn on the main gas valves unless the pilot flame is on.
• Ensure the kitchen ventilation system is on before operating the appliance.

Keep the kitchen well ventilated at all time.

HOT SURFACES – Always use thermal gloves when removing the lid or opening the inspection door.

Do not wash the heat radiant panel and detachable rock holder when they are hot to avoid damage.

Structure

1. Duck Roaster is constructed of two major parts, the burners and the body.
2. The powerful burner is equipped with control panel, heat radiant panel, fuel pipes, amode injector and pilot lighter with valve.
3. The control box consists of main cock handle, flame failure device (Safety valve), pilot
light and electric solenoid.
4. The body is constructed of movable cover, upper, middle and lower body made of stainless
steel, inspection door, meat hanger, lighting door and oil drainage pipe. It can be operated
and repaired easily.
