1.System Overview
WebField GCS-1 is a member of WebField control system family. It is used mainly in the case of logical
domination operator to fulfill real-time tasks of process control, sequence control, data acquisition and
etc. It can be widely used in process monitoring and control of sewage treatment, urban water supply,
traffic, intelligent building, food processing, textile machinery, and production of building material and etc.
2. Characteristics of the system

Local or remote I/O extension rack for easy realizing centralized and distributed control structure.
Fully compatible with ModBUS, TCP/IP protocol and supports self-defined protocol to realize
interconnection of intelligent systems.

kinds of PLC and DCS, and reducing the users' investment.
Powerful capacity of processing digital signal.
Abundant functional blocks, realizing direct input and output of various analog signals such as analog I/O
signal of type II and III , nonstandard voltage or current signals, thermal resistance signal input,
thermocouple signal input and etc.
Conforming to standard IEC61131-3 and supporting self-defined program of C language, with easy
configuration method and powerful function .
General monitoring software are applied in human machine interface such as SupView.

5. System composition
GCS-1 system is composed of power modules, CPU
quantity of I/O slots provided by CPU rack is not
modules, I/O rack and various I/O modules, CPU
enough, it can be realized by connecting to extension
module, Power module and CPU rack are the basic
I/O rack through using the extension cable, which

6.System hardware
Racks
Customer can choose various types of racks to install any kinds of
function modules.GCS-1 system provides 6 kinds of CPU racks
and 2 kinds of I/O racks
CPU Module
The commonly used CPU modules of GCS-1 system include OS-SC and OS-OMC series.
The OS-SC series CPU modules use RS-232 protocol to communicate with operator
station, and the OS-OMC series use Ethernet.
A OS-SC-501 CPU module can support a CPU rack and three extended I/O racsks.
A OS-OMS-2/E CPU module can support a CPU rack and three extended I/O racks.
A OS-OMS-2/ER CPU module can support a CPU rack, three extended I/O racks and
fifteen remote racks.

Power supply module
Various specifications of power modules are provided. The common use power modules are:
OS-PW10 AC 90-264 V self-adaptive input, 5V DC, 4.5 A output.
OS-PW20 DC 12-28 V self-adaptive input, 5V DC, 4 A output
Commonly used I/O modules
GCS-1 system provides 25 kinds commonly used I/O modules, including 16-channel
and 32-channel digital I/O modules, 4-channel and 8-channel analog I/O modules, 4channel thermal resistance signal processing, 5-channel thermocouples signal
processing module and position modules.
Special functional modules
GCS-1 system has various communication modules and intelligent connection
modules, and can be easy to realize the connection with other intelligent equipments.
7.System software
Configuration software
Configuration software package of GCS-1 system includes F-P31-GMC1 used
by OS-OMC-2/E CPU module, SC-500---WinPP used by OS-SC-501 CPU
module. Friendly interface that based on Win9X/NT/2000, powerful functions of
general configuration language and easy to use. It can help you realize the
dream of industrial process control.
Mainly include:
Paradym-31 programming environment that conforms to IEC61131,is used for
programming and downloading,
GCS-1 DDE used for data exchange with other programs.
ModBUS MapEditor used for setting up Modbus map table
IO MapEditor used for layoutting modules setting up IO variables.
OMC-1 Configuration used for setting up OMC parameters .
And etc.

SC-500-WinPP software series
SC-500-WinPP has friendly user interface, and can provide two programming modes of off-line and
on-line editing. Abundant ladder diagram application commands can also be provided. It makes the
users to have more choices, and greatly reducing the complexity of the programning.
HMI software
The HMI software for GCS-1 system is SupView.
Friendly operating station, combined with SupView general monitoring software;
realizing process optimized control and safe operating. The monitoring software
integrates engineering management, flow chart drawing system, alarming and
time system, report system, and has the advantages of supporting ActiveX
controls, fully compatible with OPC, open communication system, reliable
security system, consummate network function, comprehensive redundant
function, powerful drive program database and etc.
