PREAMBLE
1. Rationale of the research topic
Discussion groups as a form of teaching in universities featured many advantages in
forming and developing the capacity for learners. Through a series of activities to explore,
study and debate was held intentionally in group discussions in class, students will have
many opportunities to acquire good knowledge, grasp the road to knowledge, training and
skills, thinking and attitude, style of scientific work in a positive and effective. This means
the group discussion method is a tool for truly effective action capacity development for
students. However, on a practical method of group discussions there is no rightful place and
not become a form of teaching independence in the structure of the organizational forms of
teaching and university education in Vietnam today.
Revolutionary policy of the Communist Party of Vietnam is the scientific arguments
for the leadership of the Party, is a compulsory subject for students of universities in our

country, is located extremely important during excavation create high-quality human
resources for society. It is those who have moral qualities, political quality and professional
capacity to contribute to society. In particular, they must be imbued with ideology, the party
line. Requires schools to better organize the teaching and learning of the Revolutionary
ways of Communist Party of Vietnam. This requires innovation powerful teaching method
towards capacity development for students.
Acutely aware of these issues, with the desire to contribute to the renovation
fundamental and comprehensive process training university in our country, I choose content
"Method group discussion in teaching revolutionary way of studying the Communist Party
of Vietnam oriented capacity development for students of universities in Ho Chi Minh city
"as the subject of my thesis.
2. Research Purpose
Clarify the basis of the theory and practice of the subject, the proposed process
pedagogical use of effective methods of group discussion in teaching subjects
Revolutionary ways of the Communist Party of Vietnam oriented capacity development,
contribute to capacity building of students and the quality of teaching this subject at
universities in Ho Chi Minh.
3. Research tasks
- Research and theoretical basis and practical methods in teaching group discussion
subjects Revolutionary ways of Communist Party of Vietnam oriented capacity
development.
- Survey the current situation conducted group discussion method of teaching subjects

5. Scientific Theory
The application of the process approach group discussion in teaching subjects

The thesis uses the methodology of dialectical materialism and historical materialism;
the views of the Party and the State on education reform and training. Thesis was based on

the theory of education, teaching modern perspective and teaching methods Political
Education Department.

6.2.1. Group theoretical research methods
The method is used in combination: logic, history, analysis, synthesis, interpretation,
induction, comparison, generalization, systematization ... to perform the tasks of the thesis.

6.2.2. Group practice research methodology
- Methods of investigation: by the questionnaire, the survey aimed to find out the
status of teaching using methods group discussion subjects Revolutionary ways of the
Communist Party of Vietnam in the training of students in universities The current.

four chapters.

CHAPTER 1
OVERVIEW OF RESEARCH METHODOLOGY IN TEACHING GROUP
DISCUSSION MON REVOLUTIONARY POLICY OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY
VIETNAM ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT CAPACITY
1.1. Overview of group discussion method of teaching-oriented capacity
development
1.1.1. Group discussion method
In human history, the idea of teaching methods to promote positive altitude of learners
and learner-oriented teaching was the thinker, educator major concern mentioned. In
particular, recent studies in the world dedicated to teaching attention by means of the core
group discussions bring educational value consistent with the times.
There are many domestic and foreign authors research on learning in groups with
different approaches and under many different names, such as cooperative education, small
group learning; learning standpoint interactive learners - learners ... are affirmed based
learning medium group promoting positive initiative of the students, in order to meet the
requirements, the task of learning appropriate to development trends of modern teaching.
However, works on the new stop at general theoretical studies, no work no specific studies
on methods of group discussion in teaching oriented capacity development.

1.1.2. Group discussion method of teaching-oriented capacity development
Teaching oriented capacity development requires the use of multiple methods,
organizational forms of teaching in a positive direction to activate students contributed to
the formation and development of specific competencies for learners. Therefore, in the
study of teaching-oriented capacity development are more or less refers to methods of
group discussion as a method of active teaching has many advantages in developing
ability learners.
However, the majority of the research based on a common view of the world education
in the form of books, documents translated by a number of projects to provide trainers in
programs and projects, topics Master theses, doctoral thesis ... but not really new
contributions, contribute individually adapted to particular practice of Vietnam's education

4.3. Experimental results
4.3.1. Stage 1 - Experimental exploration
Results in a higher class group experimental control group class. Grade point average
of experiments is 7.719 while the average of the control layer is 6,995. The difference in the
average of the experimental class than the control layer is 0.724. In particular, the standard
deviation of the experimental class is 1,402; the standard deviation of the control layer is
1.623. Thus, through the process of experimental teaching faculty, academic results of

experimental class students made more progress in the control layer. This first manifested in
the results of the two groups of experimental and control classes differ in the level of good
points, fair, average, weak and poor. In the experimental classes, students gain a weakness,
lower average grade control and ratio of students scored quite well relatively high, higher
than the rate in the layer control (weaknesses - poor and the average in the experimental
group accounted for 58% grade, point quite well reaching 43%. By contrast, in the control
group class, weaknesses and average 62% and 38% pretty good).
4.3.2. Stage 2 - Empirical impact
At this stage the author conducted empirical control through 2 lesson.
Test results, empirical assessment impact is assessed by the following:

4.3.3. General assessment of experimental results
From the experimental results, through the analysis of experimental results on the
