Whoever is involved with the measurement of customer satisfaction must
convince the customer that the measurement is being conducted to ensure
that his/her needs are being met, and to guide improvement of the program.
The persons involved must convince the customer that expressions of
satisfaction/dissatisfaction will not be kept with identifiable information
such as the customer’s name, and that the satisfaction data are
confidential, kept apart from customer records.
