‘T

y ur
An unhinged Hope shoves Liam back
into Steffy’s arms so he can be the
daddy he’s always wanted to be...

D
Hope

eep-seated grief
can make people
do the strangest
things and behave
in a way that’s just so out of
character! Hope’s emotionally
bereft, struggling with the
loss of her precious little
Beth and intent on
laying the blame
and guilt
squarely at
her own
feet.

Insisting she’s no longer
worthy of being Liam’s wife
because she can’t give him
a child, she’s flummoxed him

with her latest fixation: forcing
him out of their marriage so
he can return to Steffy and her
baby girls and be the husband
and father he deserves to be!
Bewildered by her bizarre
emotional sacrifice, Liam
(Scott Clifton) confides his
woes in Bill (Don Diamont) but
that muddies the waters as his
father asks if he’s buying into
Hope’s (Annika Noelle) theory
that he belongs with Steffy
(Jacqueline MacInnes Wood),
Kelly and Phoebe. When
Bill ponders possible
hidden motives behind
Hope’s steadfast love
for him suddenly
changing, an
unwavering
Liam insists
she’s simply
transferring
to Phoebe
all the love
she’d have
given to baby
Beth. That’s
really what this

crazy idea’s all about!
Steffy’s also in shock
at Hope’s contention that
she knows Liam’s still in love
with her and that his place is
there with her and the girls.
Begging Hope to stop and
reconsider her actions, Steffy
counsels her to adjust to her
grief and pain and not repeat
the same mistake that Steffy
did in pushing Liam away after
her miscarriage, which ended
their marriage. Batting away

!

doesn’t have to be the same for
her, Hope’s adamant that she’ll
never be able to face another
pregnancy in the future, even
if she does have the man she
loves and the ring to go along
with it. Children are the one
precious thing she doesn’t have
– and Steffy does!
Getting upset when Steffy
implores her to see that

she didn’t marry Liam just to
produce Beth – she wed him
because she loved him – and
she shouldn’t let this situation
come between them, Hope
angrily protests she’s giving
Liam a way out, and a child
(Phoebe) into the bargain.
Gobsmacked when Steffy
insists her daughters aren’t
Hope’s to give away as
presents, she maintains her
stepsister is deluding herself...
because they know Steffy
wants Liam, and it’s finally
OK to say it now!
At that moment Liam
appears, having overheard the
conversation, and bristles when
Hope tells him to stop knocking
at the door. He should just use
his key because Steffy’s house
is his home now as well...
Frustrated, Liam argues with
his wife over her insane plan
but she’s defiant that the babies
deserve two parents to raise
them together – and grabs at
her wedding ring! Aghast, Liam
tries stopping her but it’s no

use fruitless as she hands it to
him, urging him to remember
his vows and “make the life you
promised”... with Steffy!
Wide-eyed with exasperation,
Liam does his best to calm his
wife down, but it’s pointless:
Hope is unmoved and merely
continues to try to explain her
rationale to them both. Once
he and Steffy lay eyes on Hope
cradling Phoebe as if she were
Beth, Liam goes out of his way
to convince her that staying

his vows and make his

together to work through their
shared grief is the right move!
But she can’t be swayed and
swears she’s sticking to her
guns, forcing Liam to seek
a little perspective from Wyatt
(Darin Brooks). And while he’s
a sympathetic ears to all the
turmoil the couple’s going

through, Wyatt stuns his
brother by asking him to
consider Hope’s proposal!
Maybe it’s what is best for
Hope’s sanity at the moment.
Meanwhile, Steffy confides
in Ridge, and as father and
daughter talk about how
Phoebe fits into the family,

Steffy realises there will
be no easy answers to this
gut-wrenching dilemma.
Feeling pressured to resolve
the situation before it gets
wildly out of hand, Steffy goes
at once to Taylor (Hunter Tylo),
hoping her mother will give her
a different take on the whole
sorry mess. Given that Taylor
has long been a champion of
Steffy and Liam as a couple,
and that Hope took away her
daughter’s husband and
happiness, that maternal
counsel may just make Steffy’s
dilemma much worse! TVS

REUNITED?
Are Bill and
Katie back on?

The reunion in the offing may be hard to resist for Katie
and Bill when their son has his say… Donna

A

Where
there’s
a Will…

fter her
shock
split
from
Thorne, Katie
stands in her
truth: she still
has romantic
feelings for Bill
and patching up
her broken family
with he and Will is
on the cards!

Since the big
break-up, Bill’s
made it very clear
that a reunion is
indeed what he
craves, forcing Katie
to realise that she’ll
have to make
a huge decision
about him – soon.
Wrestling with
what’s in her heart,
Katie (Heather Tom)
next feels the
squeeze pressure
from a playful and
cunning Donna
(Jennifer
Gareis), who’s
predicted that
her sister
and Bill (Don
Diamont)
are headed
back into

each other’s arms! Winding
up Katie at any chance,
Donna starts fishing to
see if Katie is expecting

her ex-husband to call her
anytime soon! Amused when
Katie smirks that Bill doesn’t
call, he just barges in, Donna
adds that Will (Finnegan
George) would certainly like
his father to be around every
day of the week...
Sure enough, Donna’s
prophecy comes true when
Bill lands on the doorstep
with news about his latest
endeavours, telling his
ex-wife he’s filling her in
because he knows she’s the
only person who cares what
he does! When he sees
his parents together, Will
appears and regales his
father with chatter about
his bank account, always
a pleasant subject that
piques “Dollar” Bill’s interest!
As they all happily chat,
the penny drops for Will
that his parents are on the
friendliest terms again, and
he doesn’t hesitate to tell
them that he thinks them
getting back together is

definitely the right thing
as far as he’s concerned!
Smiling at their son’s
rather candid opinion, Katie
and Bill are suddenly caught
off-guard when Will puts
them in the hot seat by
demanding answers to a very
pointed question about their
past. Stunned, they’re left
scrambling for the right
answers, realising there may
simply be no alternative to
what’s being presented here:
their long-awaited marital
reunion! TVS

Flo!

To protect her dad, Zoe keeps
up the baby lie as she starts to
panic that his guilt-ridden
accomplice will let the awful
truth unravel!

AWKWARD!
Flo and Hope
break bread...

D

iscovering the truth
about her dad’s role
in the barbaric baby
switch – Hope and
Liam’s tiny daughter Beth now
being raised as Steffy’s adopted
Phoebe – rocked Zoe to the
core! Agonising over what to
do next, Zoe’s love for her dad
ultimately wins out and she
hides the awful truth from
Steffy... and the grieving parents.
Instead, she’s maintained the lie
– and, for now, needs Reese’s
co-conspirator Flo to keep her
damn mouth shut!
Ensuring Flo’s (Katrina
Bowden) silence gets really
tricky when Zoe (Kiara Barnes)
finds the former casino croupier
is still in LA – and pouring drinks
at Bikini Bar! Happy with her
cut of the cash payment Reese
received for selling the baby to

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes
Wood), Flo’s now putting down
roots in LA, desperate to forge
a new life for herself. Aghast,
Zoe leans on her to get out of
town… but worries all over again
when Flo admits she’s racked
with emotional conflict about
her involvement in the terrible
episode and it’s eating her up
inside! Seeing how the guilt’s
overwhelming Flo, Zoe now
holds grave fears that she could
spill her guts to Steffy or, worse,
Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam

(Scott Clifton)! And it appears
those concerns are about to
be realised as Flo edgily
eavesdrops on Hope’s intimate
conversation with Katie (Heather
Tom) at the bar…
With every mention of Beth’s
name, Flo’s nerves fray and
shred, finally pushing her to
engage the pair. Hope’s beyond
shocked when Flo introduces
herself as Phoebe’s birth mother,
but as the bartender steels
herself to announce that the tot

Zoe bursts onto the scene to
interject, short-circuiting the
revelation! Phew! Just relieved
to shut Flo down, Zoe goes with
the cruel lie, and leaves Hope
none the wiser about the baby’s
true identity… for now…
Angry beyond words, Zoe
orders her to stay away from
Hope! However, to Zoe’s
subsequent horror, a chance
meeting with Wyatt (Darin
Brooks) reveals Flo to be his old
high-school girlfriend!
Having parted on good
terms, Wyatt’s keen to
catch up with her and
invites her to a dinner
party, whose other
guests include Sally
(Courtney Hope), Hope
and Liam...
Meanwhile, Zoe plots
to oust Flo, arousing
Xander’s (Adain
Bradley) suspicions
about just why she’s

so upset by her father
and Flo. Luckily, Zoe
manages to scurry past
it, distracting him by
avowing her love and
instigating a sexy,
steamy clinch!
What she can’t
know is that Liam’s
suspicions about Flo
and her connection to

Zoe, the daughter of the man
who delivered his baby on
Catalina Island, trouble him to
the point his curiosity threatens
to get the better of him. He plans
on quizzing Flo over dinner –
where Wyatt adds to the tension
when Hope’s instant recognition
of Flo leads him to realise she
lied to him about being childless!
There’s wide eyes all around as
Liam subtly gets to know Flo
and what makes her tick.
However, he’s really intrigued,
yet perplexed, when she makes
a show of encouraging Hope
to try for another child, secretly
hoping a new baby will help her

move on from losing Beth as
much as is possible...
That’s something clearly on
Zoe’s mind, too but, still unable
to trust Flo to keep quiet, she
freaks out at seeing images on
social media of Flo breaking
bread with Hope. Unaware
that Hope is now seriously
grilling Flo on her agenda, given
her connections to Wyatt and
Phoebe, Zoe barges into Flo’s
apartment and tears strips off
her for befriending Hope and
risking their exposure!
Shouting down Flo’s pleas for
understanding, Zoe growls that
if she can’t keep the truth under
wraps then both of them, as well
as her father, will go to prison for
a very long time! TVS

blossoming friendship with
Rey has angered her into
warning her off her man!
And lately, Mia (Noemi

manipulating Rey (Jordi
Vilasuso) into renewing their
wedding vows, showing
Sharon (Sharon Case) her
total control over him. While
Mia may have kept Sharon
at bay, her wedding served
to spark a new rivalry. Her

MINE, ALL MINE...
Mia and Rey have
a tempestuous
marriage

propose to Abby (Melissa
Ordway) in the midst of Mia

and Rey’s ceremony set her
alight with rage, and a war of
words followed!
Conflicted by her own
lingering passion for Arturo,
stemming from their brief fling
years ago, Mia went to great
lengths to split Arturo and
Abby up! That angered
a frustrated Rey into the
bargain as he tired of his
wife’s inability to focus on
their marriage. Finally, things
exploded when Mia called
out Arturo’s name during
a passionate clinch with Rey,
and that’s a tricky one to
explain! Mia’s faux pas
quickly became common
knowledge, enraging
Abby who slammed
her as “desperate”
for clinging onto the
past. In full view
of the Athletic Club
patrons, Mia attacked
Abby but was thrown
out, leaving her aching
for revenge…
It wasn’t long before

Mia thought she’d had
her chance when she
visited the Abbott
house and snuck up on

a woman she thought was
Abby and laid into her, leaving
her to collapse into the pool
and almost drown! Luckily,
Kyle (Michael Mealor) saved
the woman, who turned out to

Abby

be Lola (Sasha Calle),
Rey and Arturo’s sister!
The reveal flooded Mia
with guilt. Then when she
noticed her earring was
missing, she panicked
about being exposed and
made a beeline for Lola
to fake concern for her...
With Rey adamant
about punishing his
sister’s assailant, he
gathered telltale evidence
that eventually led him to
his own wife’s doorstep!
Unable to run, Mia

blanched when her
husband arrested her for
assault – and not even
a desperate claim that she
was pregnant could get
her out of it! She was soon
bluffed into telling the truth
and it appeared she’d
forfeit her liberty.
Never one to be
underestimated, Mia
won’t stop fighting back
to cling to the life she has,
and will surely use her
feminine charms and wiles
to coerce Rey into going
easy on her, relying on the
claim that she was
unaware she was hurting
Lola when she lashed out.
She also won’t hesitate
to play on Arturo’s
sympathies to support
her acquittal, but as Abby
continues to be a thorn
in her side, Mia looks
set to ramp up her plot to
destroy Abby and Arturo’s
wedding! Turning another
Newman wedding into

a debacle won’t win Mia
any friends, either, and
may only result in making
her a divorcee instead...
If she makes
a spectacle at Arturo
and Abby’s nuptials
it could well be the
final straw for the
frustrated law
enforcer, who’d be
justified perhaps in
cutting ties and
pursuing Sharon
all over again. That
flies in the face of
the fact that they’re
currently estranged
all because he had
tricked her into
confessing the
dirty details
of what

on that fateful,
terrible night
when JT

JT

BACK
from the

DEAD!
Rising from the dead is
a common occurrence
on soaps and now it appears
that JT (Thad Luckinbill) is
finally joining the ranks of
the undead after months of
speculation and heavy hints.
Y&R head honchos and Thad
himself have confirmed via
on-set Instagram images that
JT is on the march towards
Genoa City as the resolution
to the story of his demise
reaches its climax! Whether
or not JT is really alive
remains the $64 million
question, despite all the
evidence suggesting it. When
JT materialises, he could be
a ghost or a figment of Nikki’s
(Melody Thomas Scott)
imagination as she despairs
over the fact she killed him!
There’s also a remote chance

that he’s a JT lookalike or
a twin sibling (not out of the
realms of possibility as Thad
has a twin in real life) hired
by someone like Victor (Eric
Braeden) to roam around and
get Nikki off the hook. The
smart money, though, is on
JT being alive given that his
grave was empty when his
killers exhumed it!
Whether it’s JT in the flesh
or not, you can count on him
to reappear on screens in late
March or early April! TVS

B&B’s Katherine Kelly Lang tells TV SOAP
about the secrets to the show’s success
and her enduring romance with Australia
to enjoy the little everyday
luxuries we taken for granted
when she emerged from the
South African jungle!

“I couldn’t wait to get back
home to my honey and to see
the kids. My partner Dominique
and I went up to Big Sur for
a clean Valentine’s weekend.
That was really lovely! It was
so beautiful up there. I lived
up there when I was younger.
It was nice to go back for
a romantic, quiet weekend
enjoying the food and the view
and the nature and the hiking.”
While I’m a Celebrity... is
lighthearted and entertaining,

Kathryn West, the founder of
the charity and the woman
Katherine had been working

Winning the $100,000 prize

motivation for Katherine.
“It was very depressing and
sad and so I really thought,
‘OK, I’m going to go into the
jungle and really try to make
money for Breakaway from
Cancer and try to win’.”
Still, the Aussie reality show
was just another adventure in

KKL’s long love affair with our
wide, brown land, which she’s
visited many times.
“Oh, I love Aussie people!
I love Australia: it’s beautiful. It
reminds me of California a bit.
“I also love the personalities
over there. Everybody’s so
nice: they just seem a little

more relaxed than they do
here. Everybody has such
a great sense of humour and
I really made a lot of friends in

says of her bond with Aussies.

Katherine’s even done a bit
of house-hunting here.
“We’ve thought about it,
and we actually looked into
a couple of places -- we were
considering it – but I don’t
think we could ever move

she explains.
As much as we’d love

been in more than 4500 of the
show’s 8000-plus episode run!
It’s incredible for any show
to last so long – or to be on air
for more than 30 years. What’s
the secret to its success?
Katherine reckons it has
a lot to do with loyal viewers
having watched from the very
beginning. Like the stars, the
producers and the directors
and everyone behind the
scenes, they could sense they
were onto something special.
“Everybody was, like, so
excited about this show and
captivated,” she explains. “It
had like this magic from the
very beginning and it just
caught people. It was a story
of the rich family, and then the
poor family, and then what’s
going on between them and
all the love and the drama.
And, of course, the fashion,
because it’s based in Los
Angeles, so all the fashion
and the glamour.”

And don’t forget all those
sexy shenanigans! Katherine
must have quite an extensive
collection of lingerie for all her
bedroom scenes on the show!
“No, but I actually have
made some lingerie with our
company. We were selling
some for a while, it was really
nice lace, and really nice satin
and things like that,” she says.
Brooke’s had many loves,
but there’s one man she
KKL
always seemed to return
to: Ridge. Is he Brooke’s
soulmate in life?
“Yeah, I think so –
I feel that,” she says. “It’s
so wonderful to work
with Thorsten Kaye right
now. He’s a lot of fun;
he’s a really good actor.
I think Ridge and Brooke
belong together. No
matter how many times
they’ve broken up, they’re
together; they’re first
loves, basically.”
That might explain

why Thorsten looks at
Katherine like Lady Gaga
looked at Bradley Cooper
at the Oscars.
“Oh, that’s nice;
really?” she says. “That’s
pretty smouldering!”
Speaking of loves past
and present, we bet Don
Diamont (who plays Bill
Spencer) loves being
called “Stallion”, Brooke’s
nickname for him.
“He loves being called
stallion; he thinks he is
a stallion! I think he came
up with that whole thing.
16

TWO HEARTS
Dominique
and Katherine

“We were doing
scenes and he started
neighing every time to
the scenes and that
relationship: that was
very funny,” she says.
Brooke’s character

over the years has grown
and matured. Katherine
says it took Brooke
a while to learn from
her mistakes but she
has finally matured
and grown up...
“I mean, she’s
a grandma now, and
she’s a mother, she’s
been through a lot; she’s
made a lot of mistakes –
she’s learned from them,”
the actress says. “She
decided how she was
living her life wasn’t
working for her.”
One of Brooke’s main
roles is being a caring,
protective mum to Hope
(Annika Noelle). Annika
had a lot of lover for
Katherine when TV SOAP
interviewed her recently.
“Annika is amazing
herself,” Katherine says.
“We have a lot of heavy
scenes together all the
time. She was instantly
like my daughter.

I adopted her from the
moment I met her and
we just hit it off! She’s
& Thorsten

a great person, a great girl,
she’s really smart, talented.
We have a good relationship.”
Having so many irons in
the fire makes her such an
inspiring role model for
women. How does she manage
to do all of these things –
fashion, the show, the ironman
events? How does she find the
time and the energy?
“You have to try to find
energy with anything in life.
You have to take care of
yourself, you have to stay
healthy, you have to do things
that make you energised and
you have to create a happy
life,” she says. “And I love to
support women, I think it’s
really important. I love to
support everybody – but I really
do love to support women.
“Of course, I’m a woman so
I understand what women may

need, what maybe is inspiring
to them and what helps them

get through their day-to-day
activities and what helps make
them a better person.
“So I found that very
important. I think everybody
should help in whatever way to
help other people.”
As for the show, Katherine
can’t share too much about
what will be happening next on
B&B, except that there will be
dramatic twists ahead: “I’m still
waiting to see how it’s all going
to play out, too!”
Yet she has a final message
for her Australian fans.
“I just want to tell them how
much I love them,” she says.
“I just love the fact that they
love the show over there, and
most of them have been
watching the show, as I said,
from the very beginning. I get
that a lot in Australia: they’re
always like, ‘Oh, my grandma
would die if she knew that
I just met you!’” TVS

SCENE OF THE CRIME
Can Finn’s memory be jogged?

Questions about
Finn’s ‘amnesia’

ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION
Karl and Susan probe the

T

since her dreadful ordeal at
the hands of evil Finn Kelly

began. He’s not even prepared
to accept that Finn’s diagnosis
of amnesia stops him being
a danger to Susan any longer,
going so far as to remind the
sociopath – in brutally honest
detail – every aspect of his
dirty deeds against his wife,
and their friends and family!
Reeling from the truth, Finn
(Rob Mills) reacts badly and as
his agitated reaction suggests
his shock is genuine, Karl
(Alan Fletcher) then wonders
if he’s made a serious error of
judgement – especially when
an alerted Clive (Geoff Paine)
scolds him for breaking patient

arguing the patient’s recovery
is in jeopardy, Finn escapes!
It’s Karl who finds the
bewildered patient lost and
confused in the hospital car
park, in a state of distress.
And that fragile state of mind
is amply demonstrated when
his new specialist Beverly

Finn has retrograde amnesia
and she backs that up with
the fact that he fails to show
any recollection at all of the

in a coma because Susan
(Jackie Woodburne) pushed
him off a cliff!
Simply unwilling to believe
Beverly’s contention that Finn

Susan gives the madman
the widest of berths... but
an increasingly empathetic
Susan can’t stay away –
and is floored when Finn
announces he forgives her
for shoving him! Her entire
attitude towards him verging
on a U-turn, Susan sparks her
husband’s ire; he’s adamant
that Finn must face the
consequences of his actions!
There’s only one way to
deal with him as far as Karl’s
concerned and that’s to either
prove he’s faking amnesia,
or, if it’s genuine, help him

to regain his memories so
he can be prosecuted...
Unfortunately, Beverly’s
next examination of Finn
doesn’t help Karl’s case when
she concludes there’s no way
Finn’s a fraud. Frustrated and
fretting that Finn will target
a sympathetic Susan for his
own ruthless advantage, Karl
snaps again, telling Finn he’ll

holes in his memory!
Winning the approval of
Finn’s doctors and the police,
Karl organises for Finn to be

his crimes on unsupervised

of his memories can be

(Bonnie Anderson) and
Finn’s half-brother
Shaun (Brad Moller)

everyone’s
caught off

Finn’s agitation
overwhelms
him and he
breaks down,
ashamed to

what everyone
insists he’s

Predictably, the
emotional display
tugs at Susan’s
sympathies, but Ned
(Ben Hall) isn’t sold, angry
that Finn is anyone near
Bea again! Finally losing
his temper and punching
Shaun for refusing to
adhere to Karl’s second
option to resolve the
situation, Ben makes
matters worse as he ends
up on assault charges!
Meanwhile, Susan
can’t help herself acting
maternally towards Finn
and Shaun – and when
Finn leans on her after
being formally charged

for his crimes, Karl comes
close to losing his rag,
afraid that with his missus
being blinded to the truth

Leo

LET’S GET IT ON!
Leo and Piper go to
town on each other

Luckily for Leo (Tim Kano), Piper
(Mavournee Hazel) proves to be so
understanding of the heartache he’s
enduring, and doesn’t hesitate to
offer a shoulder to lean on as he
wrings his hands at the humiliating
prospect of having to publicly atone
for his recent out-of-character
physical rampage of destruction
through the Lassiter’s complex...
Comforting him during a movie
marathon night, Piper lets him
vent his fury at Terese (Rebekah
Elmaloglou) and Paul (Stefan

Dennis), and is soon expressing
her own sense of feeling lost in life,
too. Their emotional intimacy builds
to a sizzling frisson that culminates
in a wildly sexy romp!
The cold light of day leaves them
shell-shocked over the night before

and their first instinct
is to avoid each other
and ignore the
moment they’ve
shared. The mere
sight of Terese
at work only
intensifies Piper’s
guilt– and the
atmosphere is
incredibly tense!
Nevertheless,
the thrill of the
no-strings fling isn’t
dulled and when
they finally do talk
they resolve to carry on
the tryst in secret, using
a special codeword to
publicly declare their need to
be with each other! Before they
get too carried away, Leo’s stinging

humiliation over his public apology
is too much for him and he angrily
tells a crowd – including Piper, Paul,
Terese and his injury victim Vera
Punt (Sally-Anne Upton) – that he’s
sleeping with Piper!
Horrified at the perceived
betrayal of her, Terese blasts her
daughter and ex-lover for their dirty
deed, and, against Paul’s advice to
exercise caution so as not to push
their children out of their lives,
ridicules her daughter’s choice of
partner, succeeding only in pushing
Piper deeper into Leo’s arms!
Faced with a choice of pursuing
their feelings or sparing their
parents from the humiliation, Piper
and Leo of course opt to ramp
up the sizzle, regardless of the

Charlotte and Kyle’s teenage
son Julius has been suffering
in silence and now he’s on
a spiral towards self-destruction.
Adding to the chaos, Julius
(Blake Draper) is caught getting
drunk in the cemetery with
Danielle’s (Jessica Tovey)
stepdaughter Romy (Olive

Weeks). Fearing Romy is dicing
with danger, Danielle and
husband Tom (Steve Bastoni)
counsel the teen, hoping they
can prevent her from doing
something she’ll regret.
However, Julius is even more of
a concern when he shows up
22

on Sarah’s (Tess Haubrich)
doorstep, desperate for her
help! In a dire emotional state,
Julius confesses that he has
tried to overdose in an attempt
to stifle the mental torment he’s
been enduring...
Digging for details to help
the boy, Sarah’s horrified when
Julius cracks – confiding in her
a nugget of shocking news that
she knows could have a direct
bearing on proving Anton
(Daniel MacPherson) didn’t
kill Charlotte. Feeling as if she
simply has no other choice,
Sarah immediately reports
the information to the police.
Waiting on tenterhooks to see
if she’s done the right thing,

Sarah’s devastated when the
cops conclude that what Julius
told her won’t help Anton! Now
In total despair, Sarah swallows
hard, finally facing up to the

distinct possibility that Anton
might really be the killer!
Her mind in overdrive and
her nerves shot to pieces, poor
Sarah has no idea what her
next move will be... and her
personal circumstances aren’t
helping, either. She feels the
whole world is against her when
Anton plans to mortgage the
couple’s house to raise the
needed security for his bail
appeal and, on top of that,
Xavier (Jagger Serafin) is being
bullied at school because his
dad’s in jail.
Unable to handle the
accumulative weight of her
problems, Sarah ultimately
makes an impulsive and
reckless decision: she’s taking
the kids and leaving town to
escape all the scrutiny, hoping
that a fresh start elsewhere can

be a catalyst to save her family.

Shocked at Sarah’s impulse
decision, her parents and
friends frantically try to dissuade
her – but none of their words
have any impact. She’s made
up her mind, until Kyle (Don
Hany) steps in with a highly
emotive appeal to sway
her to stay. Over the past few
weeks, they’ve bonded over the
unfolding trauma surrounding
the murder and, despite Kyle’s
anger with Sarah for involving
Julius in the police investigation,
they’re on the cusp of giving into
their growing feelings.
Then, in a flash, everything
changes! Sarah’s mother Liz
(Helen Thomson) catches her
off-guard by securing Anton’s
bail! Sarah’s flabbergasted as
her husband walks back into her
life, knowing it will add a new
source of tension after all he’s
been through... TVS
