Most of the urgent problem can only be solved with international cooperation. To what extent do you
agree or disagree?

With the globalization, international collaboration plays a crucial role to tackle most of alarming issues.
While many people disagree with this idea, I totally agree for the following reasons.
Firstly, international cooperation brings great advantages to resolve environmental problems. Global
warming, for instance, which is a hot debate in modern era. Therefore, the cooperation with other
nations should be conducted to alleviate the negative impacts of global warming on Earth such as reduce
the emission of greenhouse, melt glacier or ocean acidification. A well-known Kyoto Protocol in 1997 is
the commitment of countries to fight global warming by reducing greenhouse gas concentration in the
atmosphere. Over 20 years, this protocol has gained considerable benefits.
Secondly, famine in third-word nations is a problem that the world is facing. In the globalization, the gap
between rich and poor nations can only be reduced with the joint effort of all nations. Africa, to be
illustrated, poorest continents of the world is sponsored by international organizations to get food
security and financial and medicine aids to deter deaths due to starvation and diseases. Finally, it is
irrefutable that the increase of terrorist organizations such as Al Quaeda, IS has become an alarming
issue worldwide. This poses a serious threat to innocent people across the world. Therefore, all nations
should cooperate to solve this dangerous issue. Take Australian and Asia cooperation as an example,
they signed an assignment to work together to combat terrorism.
In conclusion, I completely agree that international cooperation should be a way to resolve immediate
problems for the aforementioned reasons.
