3- Lesson 3: Listening
I.Aims: Listening to suggestions of summer domestic chores for kids.
II. Objectives:
By the end of the lesson , Ss will be able to
- discuss the topic of domestic chores in more depth.
- Be more aware of the household chore which are suitable for them such as : watering lawns
and plants, vacuuming…..
*Skills: Listening, scanning, ordering
III. Teaching aids: CD and Cd player, handouts, textbook

A.Warm-up: Miming
-Tell the group what his/ her is doing through -the
given words or phrases
-A correct answer will earn the group one point,
-The group with more points will win the game.
This is the list of chores used in miming:
Cleaning windows; washing dishes; cooking
meals; vacuuming; washing clothes; ironing;
watering plants.
-> Transition: In the reading text we learnt that
most parents have problems with their children
over household chores. Today we will listen to a
woman suggesting summer domestic chores for
kids.
