Period 1 Introduction/ Revision
Prepare:
I. Aims
Hớng dẫn học sinh hiểu và nắm vững cấu trúc SGK 7. Từ đó giúp các em có
đợc phơng pháp học tập hiệu quả nhất và gây hứng thú, say mê học hộ môn.
II. Contents
Tiếng anh 7 nhằm giúp các em tiếp tục làm quen với tiếng anh mà các em đã
học đồng thời giúp các em luyện tập để có thể nghe- nói- đọc- viết bằng tiếng anh
ở mức độ đơn giản thông qua các nội dung bài học đa dạng.
Tiếng anh 7 gồm 16 đơn vị bài học, mỗi đơn vị gồm 2 phần A và B. Mỗi phần t-
ơng ứng với từng nội dung có liên quan với chủ đề chung của đơn vị bài học.Mỗi
phần bài học gồm các hoạt động sau
.
1/ Giới thiệu ngữ liệu mới:
Gồm các mục nh: listen- repeat/ listen- read nhằm giới thiệu nội dung chủ đề,
các từ ngữ, cấu trúc hay chức năng ngôn ngữ mới đợc sử dụng
.
2/ Kiểm tra mức độ hiểu ngữ liệu mới:
Gồm các hoạt động nh: ask (question)- answer/ practice with a partner/
match/ true or false. Nhằm giúp các em hiểu đợc các từ, các cấu trúc hay chức
năng ngôn ngữ và nội dung các thông tin trong bài.
3/ Thực hành
Đợc thông qua các bài tập khác nhau về nghe- nói- đọc- viết các nội dung có
liên quan đến chủ đề của bài. Ngoài SGK còn có sách bài tập và 2 băng ghi âm để
các em thực hành và củng cố bài.

and answer the following questions:

b. Who is she staying with?
c. Does she have a lot of friends in Ha

- In groups, Ss read the text and answer the questions.

- Ss practice asking and answering the questions, T listens and
corrects the pronunciation.

Homework:
- Ss work in groups, talk about their own old school, using
structure: “It is bigger/smaller than….”
- T remind Ss the structure : To be different from smt, the
structures of greetings and the main content of the text about
Hoa.
- At home, write 5 sentences about your old school and 5
sentences about your new school and read the dialogue again
for fluency.

- T asks Ss to work in groups to find as many words as they can
to add to the Network:
a. Formal greetings : Good morning/good afternoon/good
evening
b. Informal greetings : Hello/Hi
- Ss practice greetings each other in pairs, T goes around,
encouraging Ss to speak aloud.
Activity 1: Listen. Then practice with a partner
- T present the picture of the dialogue between Mr. Tan and
Nga, asks eliciting questions:
1. Who are they?
They are Nga and Mr. Tan.
2. What are they doing?
They are greeting each other.

- T plays the tape, Ss listen to the dialogue. For the 1

- T presents the structure often used in everyday English to
greet or ask after each other. T can give explanation for the
new structure and ask Ss to tell the meaning of the old ones.

for each other in closed pairs: One read the name of persons,
the other reads the number. Then change the roll. T goes

- T plays the tapes, Ss listen and take notes in their listening
table. Ss exchange their work to compare and self – correct. T
checks at the end of the task.
HANG MAN
- T divides the class into 2 big group to play a game called
Hang man, each group prepare at least 10 telephone
numbers and send one S to read the Numbers.
- Each Telephone number can be read for 2 times, if the other
group can not catch the number, they loose one point and T
draw one part of the body to the picture on bb.
- Ss will be very excited on this activity , so the T must pay
more attention to the every step of the game and won’t let
Ss make too much noise.
- T control the activity, Ss play the game with the rule T has
given, write the ordinal number they hear into notebooks.
- Revise the difficult telephone numbers.
- Prepare next lesson: MAKE AN ARRANGEMENT

- The SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE is used to make an arrangement,
the tense is formed as bellows:

E.g.: We will meet in front of the movie theater.
S + WILL (not)+ VERB + ADV OF TIME
E.g.: We will not meet in front of the movie theater.
WILL + S + VERB + …………….?
YES, S + WILL/NO, S + WILL NOT.
E.g.: Will we meet in front of the movie theater.
Yes, we will/ No, we will not (won’t).
WH + WILL + S + VERB + …………….?

E.g.: Where will we meet?
We will meet in front of the movie theater.
- STRUCTURE : LET’S VERB ……………is used to ask smb to do
smt together.
- T plays the tape again, Ss listen and read the dialogue. Then
answer the questions:
