INTRODUCTION
In recent years, our country is one of the countries with the highest economic
growth rate in Southeast Asia, the annual GDP is significantly increased. The capital
construction industry is an independent manufacturing industry that functions to
reproduce fixed assets for all sectors of the national economy. It contributes to
increase economic strength, promote defense potentials and material technical
resources for the industrialization and modernization of the country.
In that condition, Luchico Trading Investment And Construction Company
Limited is construction enterprise which has performed well in providing several
types of heavy construction equipment, especially in the construction of
infrastructure, engineering works, installation and sales of electrical equipment,
household.
Being recommended and allowed by English Department – Vietnam
University of Commerce, I have gratefully experienced as an intern in Sales
Department of Luchico Co., Ltd. After one month (from 02/01/2018 to 26/01/2018),
under the valuable support and instruction of managers and colleges in the
company, I was able to apply the knowledge obtaining at university into practice,
meanwhile collect basic information to complete the internship report.
I would like to express my gratitude towards teachers at English Department
Vietnam University of Commerce as well as my managers and colleges in Luchico
Co., Ltd. Due to internship period only in the early stages, combined with my
limited ability, the report is certain to have some mistakes. I look forward to
receiving comments and suggestions in order to perfect this internship report.

LUCHICO Co.,Ltd is a limited liability company with two or more members
was registered for the first time on 23/05/2011 and registered for the second
modification on 08/01/2015 by Bac Giang Authority for Planning and Investment.
The Company's head office is located at No. 113, Cao Ky Van Street, Tho
Xuong District, Bac Giang Province

The legal representative of the company: Le Van Chien
LUCHICO Trading Investment and Construction Co.,Ltd operates under the
independent economic accounting system with full legal status, using its own seal and use
bank account to conduct business strictly according to regulations statutory law. The
company directly performs the duties of importing, distributing and consulting services in
the fields of building materials in accordance with the law. The company's products are
mainly imported materials service.

Task and Function of

The Company operates mainly in the fields of material supply, such as:
constructing public work, constructing civil engineering, installing power system,
water supply and drainage system, electric heater and air conditioning; retail
hardware, glasses and other equipment installation in construction. Besides the
company also supplies furniture such as beds, cabinets, tables, chairs, lamps and
other tangible assets which are essential.
Doing business activities in accordance with the State's policies and laws in using the
resources of the company. The company continuously strengthens its scale and develops its
operations in line with its accounting functions and contents, earning a lot of profits in
order to speed up the development and ensure the employees' life. you. At the same time, it
contributes to increasing national income, increasing state budget revenues, using capital
sources and conducting business effectively to cover expenses for investment expansion.

- Board of Directors: 02 people

 Director: Mr. Le Van Chien is the legal representative of the company, in
charge of managing and operating all activities of the company and is the key
decision maker in production and business. He is responsible for managing all
assets, supplies, capital, labor of the company's business network, directing and
managing to achieve high business efficiency and signing contracts.
 Deputy Directors: are technical engineers who assist the Director in
managing the work assigned and authorized by the Director in each specific task.
* Departments:
- Sales Department: Has responsible for the transaction, planning and business
operations of the company.
- Finance Accounting Department: Organize the implementation of the
accounting system and accounting apparatuses in the company and its attached
sections which are effective and suitable to the business lines and the business
characteristics of the company; to be responsible to the law and the director for the
completeness, accuracy, truthfulness, timeliness and continuity of the arising data
recorded in the accounting reports of the company. Organizing the training of
accounting staffs, improving the professional level, specialization of each part and
each task, and at the same time be able to undertake other tasks.
- Department of Technical Planning: Advise the Board on scientific and
technical work, manage the maintenance and repair of ships, cars, workshops, care

for improving skills for the driving force, driving, refrigeration engineering and
other work in the field of science and technology in general.

Marketing staff is responsible for marketing and seeking the market to expand
the output market, reach the customer.
The Mission of the business room is to advise the Director to:
- Implementing the strategy, annual budget plan, work plan of each department
to submit to General Director for approval.
- Organizing the personnel structure, assigning work in the department to
complete the annual budget, work plan of the department / unit has been approved
in each period.
- Perform internal reports in accordance with the Company's regulations and
other reports as required by the Board.

Develop procedures, professional rules in the field of the Department;

evaluate the effectiveness of these processes and regulations in practice to
continuously improve and improve the Company's operations.
1.2.1 Customer Relations
- Advising the development of sales policies, including policies on prices,
promotions, discounts and promotions, access to customers to submit to the General
Director for approval.

- Proposing policies for customers, groups of customers, submitting to the
General Director and implementing the approved policies.
- Establishing sales plan and goal for submission to the General Director for
approval periodically and implement the sale of products and services within the
function to achieve the approved objectives. Compling

with the Company's

regulations in proposing policies for customers when providing products and
services within their functions and duties.
- Maintain and develop relationships with customers. Take care of customers
according to the company policy.
1.2.2 Financial Consulting and Product Development
- Collect and analysis

industry information, market needs to advise the

Board of direction, market positioning, positioning products to meet market
demand.
- The focal point in evaluating the effectiveness of the current products and
services, from which analysis and research to improve the quality of products and
services of the company.
- Develop processes and regulations related to products and sell products and
services of the Company.
- Participating as a permanent member of Product Research and
Development Board in the company. Having responsible for planning, organizing

activities and evaluating results.
- Carry out financial advisory projects for clients, including: Cash flow
consultancy, financial structure, cost control, information technology, management
and other financial advisory services.

PART 2: INTRODUCTION ABOUT INTERNSHIP PROCESS IN LUCHICO
TRADING INVESTMENT AND CONSTRUCTION CO.,LTD
2.1. Tasks performed during the internship.
With the help of the staff in LUCHICO CO.,Ltd I have learned a lot of
knowledge.
Office time: In the morning: from 8:00 a.m to 12:00a.m
In the afternoon: from 1:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m
From Monday to Saturday.
During the internship time in the company, I have been trained with some
knowledge and work such as:
Week 1 (02/01/2018- 06/01/2018)
- Greetings and getting acquainted with the company's staff, especially the
sales department as well as presenting and managing director of the company .
- Reading the two-day document about the rules and regulations of the
company, the areas of operation, products and services of company.
- Beginning familiar with how to sell online.
- Make familiar with the parts and general corporate work.
Week 2 (08/01 / 2018- 13/01/2018)
- Learned how to respond to emails and guest phone, greeting guests skills.
- Be managed and handled documents, contracts, corporate documents
- Finding the needs of our customers and searching for potential customers
- Surveying and collecting customer feedback and market situation.

Week 3 (15/01/2018- 20/01/2018)
- Visiting the workshop and writing evaluation report
- Geting familiar with contract drafting
Week 4 (22/01/2018- 27/01/2018 )
- Fully perform all the work of the Sales Department: Introduce to customers
products and services of the company; collect and manage customer information,
negotiate and promote cooperation, signed contract with customers.
- Have a small party with everyone in company.

2.2 Challenges and Experiences
2.2.1. Challenges
- At the beginning, I get some difficulties in integrating with everyone in the
company, be shy and timid. Do not dare to propose ideas or question.
- Practical knowledge about building sector: I seem to have no knowledge, the
only one I have that is a bit of knowledge about building of books and English
skills. Therefore, in the first week of internship, I had difficulties with the terms,
documents and work to do.
- Skills of using Microsoft Office: The job of Sales Department relate to
finding customer information so this position requires a lot of using Microsoft
Word and Microsoft Excel, so my computer knowledge is not enough to complete
well and quickly work, it takes me quite much time to learn.
- Time management: Due to the high volume of work at the end of the year, I
do not know how to allocate and distribute time properly, the progress of work is
slow.
- Communication with customer: Sometime the company has foreign
customers who requires about housing form, I have to use word of constructional
term, I lack word for this. And I also have difficulties encountering when

exchanging work on the phone with customer, their English pronunciation is very
difficult to hear and it takes me several times to get accustomed to their accent and
their way to speak English.
2.2.2. Experiences
During practice with the help enthusiasm, leadership and siblings of the sales
department of the company as well as the efforts of myself, I have completed real
graduate training and draw some lessons:
- Firstly, I see that my work search and customer care is not simple but not
difficult. It requires me to be more flexible and alert. I have to know and learn from
experienced people, in case of difficulties or problems in work. In addition, I have
not yet had the experience of solving, I must consult with experienced people to
find the best solutions.
- Secondly, skills of using Microsoft Office is an extremely important issue.
When I was studying informatics at school, I did not pay much attention to it. But
when I came to work I realized that this is an indispensable skill if I want to do in

any environment. It directly affects the progress as well as the quality of work,
helps us work faster, more easier and more efficiently. I find that I need to cultivate
and accumulate more.
-Thirdly, the internship course at the company makes me feel more confident
and patient than before. I also learned some good characteristics like attentiveness,
initiative, loyalty, maturity, respect for confidentiality and discretion, a positive
attitude and independence. Especially I also learned so many important skills in
dealing with customers and working with staffs.
- Learn how to distribute time more appropriately: I did not work for 8 hours a
day before, so I felt very tired in the early days. When I go to work as an internship
I realize that time management is also a skill and learning how to allocate time in a

way of science and efficiency is not easy. Therefore, I set goals for yourself: set
timetable, make a list of what to do and I was able to adapt to the job. The first job
teach that I need to know how to work with short time but effective in a scientific
way.
- Besides, I learned how to write email, letter formally to thank customers in
English. It helps me use knowledge at university into practice ( Business
correspondence subject
- Moreover, during the internship in the company, I understood that the
difficulty in communicating with foreign cusstomer is really a big issue of mine. I
have to practice listening more, to be able to hear and communicate more fluently.
Confidence in communication is one way customer evaluate me and can affect to
signing a contract.
- Finally, I also get to know and have learned a lot from working style and
professionalism of the siblings, how to deal with colleagues, superiors, sorting,
processing how the work is reasonable. This is an invaluable experience and it will
help a lot for me when I started working.
There are some of the experiences I gained when I joined the company. I am
very happy to have new experiences that I have not experienced before. I will
continue to improve myself.

PART 3: THE USE OF ENGLISH IN LUCHICO TRADING
INVESTMENT AND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
3.1. The use of English in Luchico Co., Ltd.
Nowadays, English is being used as the official language in over 70 countries.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken plays a critical role in many aspects of
corporate life from securing employment to communicating with clientele and
achieving cohesive business partnerships all over the world.

As working in construction equipment market, Luchico now mostly uses
English when negotiating with foreign suppliers and promoting company’s image.
Luchico imports a lot of machinery from other countries, mainly from Asia
countries and sometimes from Europe. In order to serve the above the activities, the
staff of the company are required basic English level. They must do an English test
before entering the company. Therefore, most of all the employees in the company
have a basic level of English enough to work with foreign customers about
negotiate, write e-mails, handle international contracts

and communicate with

customers in English. Currently, about 40% of company’s staffs are able to fluently
communicate and write in English.
The official website of the company is which is
designed and displayed in both English and Vietnamese language, not only helps
Vietnamese but also foreigners access and find out information about the activities
of Luchico Co.,Ltd with easily. To do this, the company has a team of well-qualified
English staff specializing in writing articles and marketing,etc
However, it should be frankly acknowledged that Luchico CO., Ltd's English
proficient staffs are mostly staff of the Sales Department. 40% is not an impressive
number and most of English proficient staffs of Luchico are mostly students from
English Departments of different Universities and employees working in Sales
department and some of engineers. About interns, their working schedule is
unstable and they only occur in a short time and rarely present in the office. This
hinders a lot when there is sudden work related to English. Almost engineers and
office staffs are only able to read specialized English, not to communicate and write
in such language. These obstacles have many times caused company not to

immediately reply foreign partners or make serious mistakes while handling
international contracts due to the lack of English proficient staffs.
3.2. Solutions for improving the efficiency of using English in Luchico
Co.,Ltd
After a working month, I would like to offer some solutions for companies to
improve employees' skills through some following suggestions :
- Requiring English certifictes while recruiting employees: when starting
recruiting staff, the company should require about English qualification to work
more easily and save time, money in the future.
- Encouraging all staffs to communicate to their colleagues in English at the
office: this helps all staffs fast reflex about listening skill, communicate skill correct
pronunciation mistake together.
- Proposing incentive policies for staff with good English skills raise salary,
or promote. In contrast, criticizing people work inefficently due to lack of English
skills
- Luchico Co.,Ltd should orient and make the plan of training foreign
language with specialized knowledge for all employees rather than volunteering as
it is today in the company.
- The company should focus more on English communication, negotiation,
email writing, contract drafting, translating and interpreting in order to turn the
language into an effective tool for the business and exchange with foreign
customers.
- Luchico should also let employees take part in conferences on sharing
learning English experiences held by domestic and foreign organizations,
meanwhile support its best in finance, working conditions. The company also
applies more policies to encourage learning English by offering higher salaries to all
officers and staffs so that it is easier and more exciting for them to participate in the
activities.
- The office closes 5:30 p.m, the staff will have time so the company should

make use of this time to plan out more English courses along side professional
knowledge training for all employees in the company.

- Besides improving English skill, computer skills also plays a vital role and
serves as a powerful tool in business activities of company. There are some new
employees really hard to catch up with new rhythms due to the lack of knowledge
as well as the computer skills so the company should have the traning lesson on
this. This will help new employees integrate into the work environment faster.

CONCLUSION
Vietnam is a developing country, the demand for building material facilities,
technical works, installation and trading of electrical equipment, appliances are
increasing rapidly, create conditions for the construction industry both in terms of

scale and quality. I hope that Luchico Trading Investment And Construction
Company Limited will continue contributing to the country’s development in the
up coming time.
Only four weeks internship with the position of an office staff in the company,
I have the opportunity to apply the knowledge that I have learned in school to the
field and learn more about behavior, spirit, working methods, behavior,
communication in the business environment. That valuable experience has helped
me to be better to shape my future career.
With the practical experience of four week internship with a knowledgeable
company, I write this report outlining a number of ways to overcome the
shortcomings that exist in the company. I hope that these comments will contribute
to the development of the company growing in the coming time.
Once again, I would like to send my sincere thanks to the instructors and staff
