The /g/ and /k/ consonant sounds. These
two sounds are paired together because
they take the same mouth position
/k/ is unvoiced and only air passes through
your mouth.
Example:
/k/
I like ketchup.
I love black
I hate pink .
Her boy friend is very kind.
Cat is the most adorable pet.
/g/ is voiced. you're making
a sound with your vocal cords.
Example:
/g/
I got a surprise.
Sugar is sweet .
I need buy one mango.
I have just bought a new bag.
My house has a garden.
