I. Aims and objectives :
+ Language Content :
- To introduce the s.s some information about Hoa so that they can know more about the
s.s’life in a new school far from home.
- To enable the s.s to review comparative sentences.
+Language Function :
- To help the s.s understand the content of the lesson and tell them about their new friends.
+Educational Aim :
-To make the s.s aware of the importance of the friendship, especially when they live far from
home.
1. Language :
+ Vocabulary : revision
+ Structures : comparative sentence
2. Skills : integrated skills
3. Educational factor :- After learning this, they will be able to help their newcomers
II. Teacher’s and students’ preparation :
1. Method : Communicative Approach
2. Techniques : Repetition, using pictures, real objects, pairwork, games, discussion.
4. Materials needed :Textbook, pictures, colored chalks


5. Students’ preparation: Do all the h.w; reread about comparatives; be ready tostudy
6. Previous exercises: - Learn by heart the dialogue, new words; create a new dialogue
themselves.
III. PROCEDURES IN CLASS :
1. Stabilization : 3ms
a. Warm up : Greetings
b. Checking absence: Who is absent today, monitor?
2. Checking up previous knowledge :( 5ms)Calls on the s.s to go to the board, act in
role the dialogue then answer the questions
S1: Who is new in class 7a? ;
S2: What’s the new girl’s name?
Gives keys; remarks and marks
3. Presentation of the new materials:

Hangs a picture on the board and
introduces something about Hoa
and her school.
Introduces vocabulary (using
techniques of teaching vocabulary)
Unhappy: antonym & picture of 2
people; one is happy and other is
not happy.
Look at her and his face. He looks
happy. She looks unhappy.
Different ( using example or

Hoa’s old school is small. Hoa’s
new school is big. They are

Guides them to practice the words.

and has them tell about Hoa.
