My dream home will be a modern house. The house will be hidden in the forest. There is a gate
which is always locked, and you have to talk to me to get in.

Inside the basement will be an average size theatre room. My house will also have an indoor pool. It
will also have five floors, and in one floor is a gaming room for me and my brothers and my friends.
On the third floor is my room. It is a good place for me to relax.

My dream home also has a lift so it is easier to get to the floors but the house will still have stairs if
you want to use them.

buildings get Green Mark. By 2030, 80% of their buildings will get this. Singapore can also
produce “eco-friendly” cars. They also encourage people to walk or travel by public
transport. Finally, they now have more green-collar workers. These are people who manage
buildings, work in green industry, or plan green events.

Interviewer: Hi Jackson. Congratulations! How are you feeling?

Jackson: Thanks. I still can’t believe I won!

Interviewer: It was the 1,500 metres, wasn’t it? How did you prepare for it?

Jackson: Yes, it was the 1,500 metres. I trained for months before the event.
Every day I ran 10 kilometres in the morning and swam at least 50
rounds in the pool.

Interviewer: Did you have to follow a special diet?

Jackson: Oh yes, with lots of beef and salmon.

Interviewer: … And with that busy training schedule, did you have any time to
relax at all?

Jackson: Luckily yes. My coach said it’s important that I had enough rest, so I
slept a lot, and often went to the cinema or had coffee with friends at
weekends.

Customer: Hi, I want to ask about the yoga class.

Receptionist: Sure! What level are you looking at, the beginner’s class or the

Customer: Beginner, please.

Receptionist: We have classes for beginners on Monday, Wednesday and
Saturday. There are classes both in the morning and the evening.
Customer: What time does the evening class start?

Receptionist: There’s one at 6:30 and one at 8. Which do you prefer?

Customer: The 6:30 class, please. I can come after work. And how much is the
fee?

Receptionist: That will be $120 a month.

Customer: And will I need any special equipment?

Receptionist: No. You’ll just need to wear comfortable clothes. We provide
carpets and clean towels.

Customer: Sounds great. Thanks.

Pelé was a world-famous soccer player from Brazil. Pelé was born on October 23, 1940, in a
small village of Trờs Coraỗừes. His real name is Edson Arantes do Nascimento. He was
known for his tremendous speed and balance, his jumping and ball-controlling abilities, and

his spectacular goals. During his career Pelé played in 1,363 games and scored 1,281 goals.
