Lesson 1: Getting Started - A surprise guest
A. Aims:

By the end of the lesson, students can:

- Listen and read for specific information about friends.
- Use the lexical items related to the topic “MY FRIENDS”.
- Identify and practise the language of polite requests.
- Use vocabulary and structures about personality.

II. New lesson:

A. Presentation :
1. Introduction:

- T. reviews the previous unit by
asking sts to solve a crossword
puzzle.

+ T. hangs the poster of a
crossword puzzle on the board.
+ T. divides the class into 2 groups.
+ Each group takes turn to choose
the number and answer. If it’s right,
they will have 1 point. If not, the
other group can get the chance.
+ The group can guess the blue
word - keyword correctly will have
2 points.

+ The group having more points
will be the winner.
