Objectives : By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to: - Practise reciting the English poems they like. - Develop such reading micro-skills as scanning for specific ideas, skimming for general information, and guessing meaning in context. - Use the information they have read to discuss the topic. 2. Checking the old lesson - T calls 2 Ss to make a small dialogue on their experience for last summer holiday. - T gives comment and marks. III. New lesson 1. While you read * Setting the scene: You are going to read a passage about the qualities of a long lasting friendship.
