OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to ask and answer the information about their daily routine activities by using given information and pictures. II. LANGUAGE CONTENTS: 1. Knowledge: - General knowledge: Asking for giving information from a time table. - Language: Talking about daily activities. - New words: words related to topic. 2. Skills: Fluency in expressing opinions. III. METHOD: - Integrated, mainly communicative. IV. TEACHING AIDS: - picture, board, chalks, textbook, handouts. V. PROCEDURES: 1. Class organization: - Greeting - Checking the attendance 2. Check up: (5’) T asks one student to go to the board to write new words and answer the questions New words: con trâu, cày, bừa, bạn cùng làm trên đồng, thuốc lá, nghỉ ngơi, hài lòng với, trồng(cấy), mùa vụ. Questions: 1. What does Mr. Vy do in the morning? 2. Is he happy with his family? * Expected answers: New words: buffalo (n), plough (v), harrow (v), fellow peasant(n), local tobacco (n), take a rest (v), content with (exp), transplant (v), crop (n) Questions: 1. Mr. Vy gets up, goes down the kitchen, boils water for morning tea, drinks tea, has quick breakfast, leads buffalo to field…. 2. Yes, he is 3. Presenting the new lesson: Teacher’s & students’ activities - T asks Sts to make a list of the subjects they learn at secondary school. - T gives some subjects and introduces the new lesson to the whole class - Ss make a list of the subjects and pay attention to introduction - T explains the request of the exercise and makes modal examples - Ss open their books and listen - Ss work in pairs and present their talks - T asks Sts to work with a friend and ask and answer questions - T calls on some Sts to carry out in front of the class and gives marks - T asks Sts to study the pictures carefully and makes a model question with a student - T asks Ss to describe Quan’s activities during the day and then calls on some Ss to carry out their presentation in front of the class. Contents I. WARM UP (5’) Expected answers: Maths, Literature, Geography, English, Chemistry, History, Physics,…. II. PRE-SPEAKING: Task 1: (10’)Quan is a tenth-grade student. He goes to school every morning. Below is his weekly timetable. Ask and answer questions with a partner, using the information from the timetable. * Examples: A: What time does Quan have a Civic Education lesson on Mon day? B: (He has Civic Education lesson) at 7:15 a.m A: What lesson does Quan have at 7:15 a.m on Monday? B: (At 7:15 on Monday he has) Civic Education lesson.. Lop10.com.

III. WHILE-SPEAKING: Task 2: (15’) Talk about Quan’s activities, using the pictures 1. What is Quan doing in the picture a? 2. Is he getting up? 3. So what time does he get up? …. * Expected answers: Everyday Quan gets up at 14:00. Then he study for about two hours. He watches TV at 16:30. At 17:00 he rides to the stadium to play football with other boys in the neighborhood. He gets back home at 18:30. After having a shower, he has dinner with his family at 19:00. He prepares for the following day’s lesson at 20:00. IV. POST-SPEAKING: Task 3: (12’) Tell your classmates about your daily routine. - What do you do every day? - What time do you get up? …... V. HOMEWORK: (3’) - complete the talks and prepare the next lesson at home. VI.
