I.AIMS

1. Knowledge: After the lesson, students are able to:

- Asking and answering questions about frequency
- Listen and read for specific information.

- Vocabulary: once, twice, do, month, week, ...

Sentence Pattners: How often...? – I...every day/once/twice... a week/ a month

2. Skills: Listening, reading and speaking.

3.Attitude:-In this lesson, studious and obedient students and love their hometown,

family and friends.

II.TEACHING AIDS

1. Teacher’s: English book , lesson plan, pictures, word cards, , tape, cassette .
2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.

III.TEACHING METHODS

-Communicative approach.

-Techniques:+ Ask and answer (say individually)
+ Work in pairs/ groups. Discuss

repeat each line in the speech bubbles to
reinforce their pronunciation.

Have ss look at the picture and identify the
characters.

- 6-7 pairs perform their task at the front of the

class. The rest of the class observe and give
comments

Tell the class that they are going to complete a
crossword puzzle. Remind them how to do it.
- get them to look at the crossword puzzle and the
pictures

- ask sts to work independently. Monitor the
activity.

Meanwhile,copy the crossword puzzle. And invite
one or sts to complete it. Ask them to read out the
words for the class to read.

- Pronounce two-syllable words with the stress on the first syllable: ’always, ’often,

’usuallyr and ’sometimes.

- Ss look after , solve problems and study themselves
.- Phonetic: ’always, ’often, ’usuallyr and ’sometimes

2. Skills: -Develop listening, reading, writing skills.

3.Attitude:-In this lesson, studious and obedient students and love their hometown,

family and friends.

II.TEACHING AIDS

- Listen the CD and repeat the words & sentences
in chorus.

- Read in groups/ in pairs.
- Give out and check.

Activity 2: Use your voice

- Read the sentences in silence before listening the
recording to do the task.

- Pupils listen the recording 2 times and circle a or
b to complete sentences.

- Compare the answers each other before checking
as a class.

- 3- 4 pupils give the keys. The rest of the class
observe and give comments.

Activity 3: Acredited

.Introduce the Chant

Ps listen to the tape & read the chant line by line.
- Ps practise chanting: one chants the questions
and the other chants the answers.

- Ps practise chanting and doing actions.
- 2 groups to say the chant and do actions.
Teacher reinforce their pronunciation

The rest of the class claps along to the rhythm.
