Warm-up

-Greetings and sing the Hello song.
-Review clothes and then do the
Clothing Chant. Have ss mime the
actions.

(10mins)


-Hold up number 1-4 cards. have ss
read aloud. Introduce the numbers
5-8. Hold each number card, read
first and let ss repeat.


-Call each child to stand up and read
again.


-Ask ss to open the book.

from 1 to 8.

-Ask ss look at page and try to
guess what the monsters are saying
to each other.


-Play the tape. let them listen to the
dialog. ask ss to point to the

-Play CD again. Let ss repeat during

-Play the 5,6,7,8 Chant. Let them
say with their voices.

hands in the air.


-Play the Chant again.Have ss call
out their number with the tape as
they wave their hands.

some objects ( crayons, books,…).
Have ss count together.


-Check up their mind by asking:
How many T-shirts/shorts/books…
