hệ, cái gì thuộc về ai hoặc ai có cái gì.

<b>1. Danh tõ sè ít: Chúng ta thêm (') + S</b>

vào sau danh từ chØ ngêi chñ.
Ex. This is Mr. Thanh's house.

<b>2. Danh tõ sè nhiỊu:</b>

<b>a. TËn cïng b»ng "s": chóng ta chØ thªm</b>

Ex. Students' books are on the desk.

<b>b. Kh«ng tËn cïng "s": chóng ta thªm</b>

(') + s.

Children's pens are in the bags.

<b>c. Së h÷u chung: nhiÒu ngêi cïng cã</b>

chung một đồ vật: chúng ta viết ký hiệu
sở hữu sau từ cuối.

Ex.This is My father and mother's car.

<i><b>b. Các ngôi khác (I, you, we, they, Lan</b></i>
and Mai,..): động từ có dạng nh dạng
gốc hay dạng đơn giản

Ex. I go to school.

They play in the yard.

<b>2. Ng«i thø ba sè Ýt:</b>

<i><b>a. Thông thờng chúng ta thêm "s" vào</b></i>
sau động từ thờng:

Ex. He lives in Ha Noi.
Mary writes a letter.

<i><b>b. §éng tõ tËn cùng bằng "y":</b></i>

- Trớc " Y" là một nguyên âm ( a, e, i, o,
u) chóng ta thªm "s".

Ex. He plays a game.

- Trớc "Y" là một phụ âm: chúng ta đổi
" Y" thành "i" rồi thêm "es".

Ex. He studies English.
