- Listen to a tape and write down
the 4 distance from Lan’s house
to the school, from Lan’s house to
the post office, from the school to
the movie theater, from the movie
theater to the post office.

- T asks Ss to predict the distance
before listening to the tape. T
takes notes into the listening table.
- T plays the tape, checks and
corrects the answers.

- T uses the dialogue in the

tapescripts with some information
omitted. Then T plays the tape
again, asks Ss to fill the blanks.
