Last weekends, Mr. and Mrs. Lam took their children back to their home village
about 10 kilometers from Da Lat. The village lies at the foot of a hill where people plant
a lot of vegetables. Mr. Lam’s parents have lived there for nearly fifty years. Their
house is in the centre of the village. Mr. Lam’s children were very interested in the
visit. They got up and followed their grandfather going up the hill to see the sightseeing
in the early morning. Then they went back home for breakfast. Their grandmother
cooked the meal for them. After the long walk, they felt tired. They ate their breakfast as
if they haven’t ever had such a delicious breakfast.

In the afternoon, they went fishing with their cousins, they rowed a boat around a small
lake behind the house. Mr. Lam’s family stayed there for two days. The weekends were
too short. However, the children enjoyed the trip very much.
