I. Class description: - 40 eleventh grade students,30 girls and 10boys
,Ngo Sy Lien High school ,Bac Giang


II. Objectives:


1. Educational aim:


- introducing some popular competitions to the pupils
- Vocabulary comprehensions: matching comprehension
- completing the sentences bases on the reading passage
2. Teaching aim


- Help Ss: + improve reading skills


+ get some language knowledge


3. Skills: Guessing word meaning in context, scanning for specific
information and passage comprehension.


III.Methods: Integrated, mainly communicative.
IV. Assumed knowledge of Ss:


- level: high beginning
- ……


V. Anticipated problem(s)



- Ss may have some difficulties in while reading stage because there are
some new words which they don’t know. Thus, teacher should be ready
to assist them and teach students how to guess word meaning in context
to solve their problem by themselves.
