The ‘common cold’ is caused by viruses that infect the nose, throat and sinuses.
It’s most common during the cold winter months and affects children and adults
of all ages. Most people will catch a cold two to four times a year. A cold often
starts with felling tired, sneezing, coughing, and having a runny nose. You may
not have a fever, or you may run a low fever. There is no cure for the common
cold. Antibiotics don’t work against viruses. All you can do to feel better is treat
your symptoms. Colds usually last about one week but can continue for as long

it was 480C. Even at night it was really hot. Anyway, what we decided to do was

to drive back about 160 km to a place where the train went through. Then we put
both cars on the train and we all went to Perth by train. That was fun. It was a
good train.

We had a good time in Perth but we had to cut our holiday short. You see,
while we were there my grandmother (my mother’s mother) in Melbourne died.
Most of us flew back but my Dad and my uncle came on the train with the cars
and then had to drive back to Melbourne from Port Pirie.
