An Economical Alternative
As networks and the variety of powered net-
work devices grow, so does the need for reliable
power distribution and protection in multimedia
broadband networks. ADC's PowerWorx has
been engineered from the ground up to properly
protect and distribute power to valuable, rev-
enue-generating network equipment.
PowerWorx GMT 60e Series panels set a new
standard – delivering the power and the protec-
tion that service providers need. So if your net-
work needs power that works, use PowerWorx.
PowerWorx GMT 60e Series fuse panels deliver
power to valuable, revenue-generating network
equipment located in broadband multiservice
networks. The GMT 60e Series accepts input
power up to 60 Amps per bus. Up to 15 Amps
per fuse position is standard.
PowerWorx panels are independently tested to
comply with the industry's highest standards,
including CE, UL, CSA, and NEC 2002. In addi-
tion, the GMT 60e Series is backed by a five-year
warranty.
Flexible PowerWorx configurations suit most
every network application. Panels can be mount-
ed into 19-inch (48.3 cm), 23-inch (58.4 cm),
Electronic Industries Association (EIA) or Western
Electric Company (WECO), and 600 mm racks.
User-friendly ”upside down“ fuse holders and

high-brilliance LEDs allow technicians to quickly
identify input power failure and blown fuse
alarms.

Primarily used to power LEDs in DSX modules, the PDP Series is also used to power auxiliary equipment
such as intraoffice and bridging repeaters as well as communication panels. Features two-hole
compression lug-style power input terminals, field-replaceable, high brilliance red LEDs to ensure panel
uptime and enhanced fuse visibility with "upside down" installed GMT fuse holders. Panel is compliant

With input power up to 65 Amps per bus, the
Traditional GMT Series eliminates the need to stock
varying amperage fuse panels. Fuse management is
simplified by accommodating up to 15 Amps of out-
put power per fuse position – without the need to
space fuses. A self-configuring voltage and polarity
feature allows a single panel to support most applica-
tions, providing ±24Vdc or ±48Vdc power.
Note: Panels ship with dummy fuses installed in all positions, one fused equipment designation card
holder and card, a voltage designation label, two 2-hole lugs per power bus, two ring lugs (for
grounding), and one designation pin holder per fuse holder.

To ensure constant powering of fused network
equipment, the Uninterrupted Power GMT Series
features two input power feeds. If power to one
fails, the other serves as backup – taking on the
load of the failed circuit while maintaining its own
load. Schottky-steering diodes ensure panel uptime
until input power is restored, while a patent-pend-
ing heat dissipation design ensures safety. The
panel offers input power up to 60 Amps per bus.
Note: Panels ship with dummy fuses installed in all positions, one designation card holder and
card, one voltage designation label, two 2-hole lugs per power bus, two ring lugs (for ground-
ing), and one designation pin holder per fuse holder.
Each side (BUS) must be able to handle load if A or B is lost. (i.e. 30 amps or 60 total per side)

™
GMT Series panels deliver clean DC voltage to noise-sensitive network elements.
Using lowpass filters, all frequencies above 59 Hz are eliminated and unwanted power line noise is
suppressed. The suppression level at 60 Hz is at least 35 dB with a greater level of suppression at higher
frequencies. Additionally the integrated filter prevents the upstream flow of noise from fused equipment
to the batteries. The unique design of the internal filter is patented.
User-friendly “upside down” fuse holders and high-brilliance LEDs allow technicians to quickly identify
and replace blown fuses in the field. Other features include two-post grounding, removable smoked
polycarbonate input/output connector covers, and two color options (putty white or black).
NOTE: Panels ship with dummy fuses installed in all positions, one designation card holder and card, two
2-hole lugs per power bus, two ring lugs (for grounding) and one designation pin holder per fuse holder.
