Thare are many old houses, pubs and hotels in Britain which people

I ... (leave) my things in the room
and ... (come) downstairs.

There ... (not/be) many guests.
There ... (be) only three including me.
I ... (sit) in the sitting room and
I ... (talk) to the manager, Sara

Daniels, about her hotel. I ... (have) a drink and then at 12.00 I
... (go) upstairs to my room.

Room 11 ... (be) on the top floor. I ...(open) the door
and ... (turn) on the light. It ... (be) a very big room,
quite old, and yes, it ... (be) a bit spooky. There ...
(be) an old television on a table – but there ... (not/be) a
remote control. I ... (turn) on the TV. There ... (be) a
film on. I ... (be) happy to see that it ... (not/be) a
