SPEAKING TEST
Good morning teacher, I would like to talk about the topic “In your opinion, what
are the qualities needed to be successful in sales?”. Yah as we know, sales is not the
right career track for every professional because sales is so hard to master and
perfect. In my opinion, a good salesman need to have some of following qualities.
The first is honesty, I think it’s the most important quality needed in sales. In fact,
while an unscrupulous sales strategy might work every now and then, but in the
long run, they will lose more sales because customers no longer trust them.
Conversely, customers are often loyal to salespeople who seems genuine and
trustworthy. Customers need a salesperson who proactively share any and all
relevant details with them. Furthermore, honesty also creates confidence. As soon
as they realize that they don’t have to rely on lies and exaggerations in order to
make a sale, they’ll be more confident.
Yah this is also the second essential selling quality that I would like to mention:
confidence. When salespeople are confident in their abilities and communicate
openly with customers, selling is much more effective. Believing in the product or
service they are selling is also essential. It's like a pervasive confidence that makes
customers want to buy more.
Last but not least, a successful salesperson alway knows his products well. It easier
to sell something they intimately know than something they barely know anything
about. They can provide all the information customers require. It also helps
customers to better understand the product and feel more confident when buying.
That’s all I want to say.
