LESSON 1: A1 I/ OBJECTIVES : - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to describe rooms and homes, and they know how to keep and take care of their rooms and house. II/ PREPARATIONS : textbook, chalks, cassette player & tape, pictures. III/ PROCEDURES. Teacher’s activities 1. Warm – up (3’): - Ask ss some questions: + How many rooms are there in your house? + What are they? + What are there in each room? - Lead to the new lesson 2. Presentation :(15’) Task 1 : Introduce new words: + sink (n) : ( Picture ) + tub (n) : ( Picture ) + washing machine (n) : ( Picture ) + dryer (n) : ( Explanation ) + refrigerator (n) : ( Picture ) + dish washer (n) : ( Picture ) + electric stove (n) : ( Picture ) + awful (adj): ( Explanation) + lovely (adj) : ( Example ) + bright (adj) : ( Antonym : # dark ) + convenient (adj) : (Explanation ) + amazing (adj) : ( Explanation ) - Guide ss to read these new words. Task 2: Introduce the structure: exclamations. Eg1 : What a lovely home !  What + a/an +adj+N ! - Introduce 2 kinds of exclamations: + Complaint: What an awful day! + Compliment: What a beautiful pen! Note : What beautiful colors ! What fresh milk! 3. Practice (15’): - Have Ss read the dialogue and answer the questions (page 30) - Call on some ss to give the answers in front of the class.. Students’ activities - Pay attention and give answers. - Listen, repeat and copy down. - Reread (chorus, in individual) -Listen, copy and take notes. - Work in group + Read silently and find out the answers..

My house. - Call some ss to write on the board - Get feedback. 5.Homeworks (2’) : - Have ss: + Describe their house. + Prepare Unit 3/A2. - Give answers. - Take note and copy down. IV.
