Warm – Up: (5’) - Ask students to read carefully the situations in the book and name the places where these people should go: Tom, David, Huckleberry, Oliver, Robinson. Where should he / she go to? Why?  Suggested answers 1. Tom should go to beaches. 2. David should go to Hoi An. 3. Huckleberry should go to Sapa. 4. Oliver should go to Bat Trang. 5. Robinson should go to Ho Chi Minh City 2. Presentation: (10’) - Ask students to tell some festivals they know in Viet Nam. - Ask students to look at the picture and ask questions 1. What festival is it? 2. What are the people in the picture doing? 3. Have you ever taken part in this kind of festival? - Explain new words: 1. Fetch (v) = to go to get sth and bring it back. 2. Yell (v) = to shout loudly. 3. Urge (v) = to make a person to move quickly. 3. Rub (v) (mime) 4. Separate sth from sth (v) 5. Judge (n) 6.
