Objectives: By the end of the lesson sts will be able to: - Know the receipe and the instructions how to cook the dish. - Give a menu for them - Improve 4 skills II. Matterials: Textbook, lesson plan, chalk, board, posters, pictures.... III. Procedures: Teacher’s activities A. Warm up: (4’) * Brainstorming - T asks sts to write the names of foods or drink which they know on the board. * Chatting: - T asks sts: ? Can you cook? Are you good at cooking? ? Do you often cook meals? ? What do you think this work? Do you like it? B. Pre – reading: (20-22’) Pre teach vocab (picture) (explaint) (expaint) (translation) (picture). What are they doing now? - Preparing for dinner - Hangs a poster with 8 statements on the board. - Have Ss read them carefully and predict their orders. - Feed back their prediction.. - T asks sts to read and check their prediction. - Have Ss read the text silently to correct their orders. - Feed back Ss' answers. - Let Ss read the statements in correct orders again.. II. Read 1. Ordering stagement prediction a. She cooked some rice and boiled spinach. b. She sliced some green pepers and onions. c. She sliced the beef. d. She sliced some cucumbers. e. She stir-fried the beef with the vegetables. f. Hoa set the table for dinner. g. She made cucumber salad with onions. h. She added a little salt to the spinach. Homework -Learn by heart the new words -Write what you ate and drank for breakfast/ lunch/ dinner yesterday. -Write about your menu yesterday. -Read and translate the text (A3.p116)again. -Do exercises in work book..
