I had gone to many beautiful sites in Vietnam but I like the journey to Hue City best. I took a 6-hour train from Tam Ky at 8 a.m once day in August, 2010. I arrived Hue City at about two in the afternoon. My journey lasted 6 days. At this time, the Hue Festival 2010 was holding. The first two days, I saw some small festivals such as: The Kite Flying Festival, The Ao dai Festival, The Imperial Boat Festival, and so on. There were a lot of foreign tourists who proved their interest to Hue Festival. I saw the romantic beauty of Truong Tien Bridge at night with colourful lights. The Huong River divides Hue city into two parts with identified characteristics. I visited The Citadel of the Nguyen Kings in the third day. I was really surprised with historic objects and Kings’ things here. The last two days, I visited some famous pagodas and Kings’ Temples. I was very interested in discovering differences in geomancy of these Temples. I returned home with great regret. The journey brought me a lot of emotion and unforgettable experiences. I am looking forward to coming back Hue in the future.. TOPIC 2: TRAFFIC PROBLEMS IN BIG CITIES AND THE CAUSES Traffic problems in big cities are tough problems which insist of traffic jam, traffic accidents and so on. Traffic jam causes many complicated problems to the people living as well as to the government at various levels in big cities. Everyday, traffic jam happens in rush hours. This leads a worrying fact: adults are late for work, and children are late for school. Also, traffic jam causes healthy problems and environmental pollution because of dust and cacbondyoxic. The people being in streets in a long time are easier to catch respiratory diseases. There are some real causes to traffic problems. Firstly, personal vehicles are getting more and more. Motor vehicles (trucks, cars, …) also are increasing quickly in quantity. Secondly, in Vietnam most streets in big cities are narrow..

Fourthly, people do not like moving by public buses. Finally, people awareness is not perfect. Many people sale goods and services in roadsides. Many drive very fast in dangerous ways. Traffic problems will not be solved if people and governments in big cities have not overcome their shortcomings yet. TOPIC 3: THE CHANGES OF MY TOWN OVER THE LAST TEN YEARS I was born and grew up in Tam Ky Town of Quang Nam Province. Tam Ky is a small town in the Central of Vietnam but it is very peaceful and green. Da Nang split from Quang Nam and became a city directly under the central government in November 1996. Tam Ky became an administrative center and Quang Nam was a province with a chain of difficulties at that time. Tam Ky was recognized as a city in 2006. This year marked the beginning of changes of Tam Ky. Tam Ky City is with the great speed transforming herself from one of Vietnam poorest cities to one with remarkable changes in most fields such as: economy, politics, education, entertainment, infrastructure and so on. Tam Ky City in the Economic Reform faced lots of difficulties and experienced many ups and downs; however, it gained noticeable achievements. There are more national standard schools. Quang Nam College was raised to Quang Nam university where attracted more and more students all over country. Therefore, the investment and reform in education were appreciated. Besides, some industrial zones were built which attracted many foreign projects. There are more and more companies and enterprises. Tourism also became an important industrial to developing province. In addition, a series of entertainment centers were established, especial ones for children. The people living standards are advancing to a higher level. Tam Ky – my hometown – changed a lot during the last ten years and is more modern and richer..
