I. CÁCH SỬ DỤNG LƯỢNG TỪ
- A lot of, lots of, much, many: đều chỉ số lượng nhiều
Ex: Ron Mason owns a chain of supermarkets. He’s made a lot of money.
- A few và a little: đều chỉ số lượng ít
Ex: I’d better hurry. My bus goes in a few minutes.
- Many và a few: đứng trước một danh từ đếm được số nhiều
Ex:
+ many places / many problems
+ a few people / a few buildings
- Much và a little đều đứng trước một danh từ không đếm được
+ much money / much time
+ a little sunshine / a little food
- A lot of và lots of: có thể đi được với cả danh từ đếm được (dạng số nhiều) và danh
từ không đếm được
Ex:
+ a lot of tourists / lots of games
+ a lot of sugar / lots of fun
- A lot of, many và much:
+ a lot of và lots of được sử dụng trong câu khẳng định
+ many và much được sử dụng trong câu phủ định và nghi vấn
- Cách sử dụng little, a little, few, a few
- Little + danh từ không đếm được : rất ít, khơng đủ để (có khuynh hướng phủ định)

- Many hoặc much thường đứng trước danh từ.
- Many đi với danh từ đếm được và much đi với danh từ không đếm được:
Ex: She didn’t eat much breakfast. (Cô ta không ăn sáng nhiều)
- Many/much of + determiner (a, the, this, my… ) + noun.
- Some:(một vài, một ít): dùng trong câu khẳng định
- Some + Noun (đếm được số nhiều) / Noun (không đếm được)
- Any (.. nào), thường dùng trong câu phù định và nghi vấn
- Any + Noun (đếm được số nhiều) / Noun (không đếm được)

II. BÀI TẬP THỰC HÀNH
