The great English scientist Isaac Newton, whose theory of gravitation is well- known throughout the world, was born in the little village Woolthorpe, not far from his own town of Cambridge, on December 25th, 1642. As a boy, he was often taken on frequent hunting and fishing trips by his father to Michigan, the locale of many of his stories.
