TÊN BIỆN PHÁP: “XÂY DỰNG TÀI LIỆU LUYỆN NGHE BÁM SÁT CHỦ
ĐỀ BÀI HỌC CHƯƠNG TRÌNH SÁCH GIÁO KHOA THÍ ĐIỂM LỚP 11”
I. MỞ ĐẦU
Tiếng Anh là ngôn ngữ quan trọng giúp chúng ta tiếp cận với những thành tựu
mới nhất của con người về khoa học kỹ thuật, văn hóa xã hội và hiểu biết lẫn nhau
hơn. Việc học Tiếng Anh ngày nay đang hướng đến mục tiêu là giúp học sinh phát
triển năng lực giao tiếp bằng Tiếng Anh, phát triển bốn kĩ năng Nghe, Nói, Đọc, Viết.
Kĩ năng Nghe là một trong bốn kĩ năng quan trọng đối với những người học
ngoại ngữ. Muốn giao tiếp được thành công thì người học phải vận dụng được rất
nhiều kiến thức nền và kỹ năng khác để nghe và hiểu được những gì người khác diễn
đạt một cách chính xác. Nghe tiếng Anh tốt sẽ khuyến khích học sinh say mê, tự tin
trong học tập hơn và củng cố được các kĩ năng khác. Để đánh giá kĩ năng Nghe của
học sinh, theo yêu cầu của Hội đồng bộ môn Tiếng Anh tỉnh Quảng Trị, kế hoạch thực
hiện tiến độ và hình thức kiểm tra của bộ mơn tiếng anh năm học 2020 – 2021 của Tổ
Tiếng Anh- trường THPT Trần Thị Tâm có một bài kiểm tra 15 phút/học kì về kĩ năng
Nghe.
Tuy nhiên, ngữ liệu được sử dụng trong các bài kiểm tra Nghe chưa thực sự
liên quan đến chủ để các bài học của chương trình Sách giáo khoa thí điểm. Vì vậy,
tơi chọn đề tài “Xây dựng tài liệu luyện nghe bám sát chủ đề bài học chương trình
sách giáo khoa thí điểm lớp 11” nhằm giúp các em học sinh khối 11 phát triển kĩ năng
Nghe và các kiến thức liên quan theo đơn vị bài học.
II. NỘI DUNG
1. Thực trạng
1.1. Thuận lợi
- Chương trình học được sắp xếp theo từng chủ điểm, nội dung phong phú và gần gũi
với học sinh.
- Các hoạt động của bài Nghe trong sách giáo khoa khá đa dạng, phong phú giúp học

sinh rèn luyện kĩ năng Nghe có hiệu quả
- Tài liệu để học sinh tự rèn luyện kĩ năng Nghe ở nhà phong phú đa dạng như luyện
KET, PET, IELTS, TOFEL.
1.2. Khó khăn
- Đa số các em học sinh chưa hứng thú với việc học Tiếng Anh nên tinh thần tự học,
tự rèn luyện chưa cao.
- Một số bài nghe hoạt động quá khó so với năng lực của phần lớn các em học sinh.
- Vì kĩ năng nghe cịn yếu nên các em có tâm lí ngại khó, khơng u thích khi học và
làm bài kiểm tra về kĩ năng nghe.
- Các bài kiểm tra Nghe 15 phút đa số chưa có liên kết về chủ đề của các bài học để
học sinh vận dụng, liên kết các kiến thức với nhau.
- Là năm đầu tiên áp dụng bộ sách Tiếng Anh 11 Thí điểm nên giáo viên chưa có
nhiều kinh nghiệm, chưa tìm được nhiều tài liệu phù hợp theo các chủ đề bài học.

PART 2:
Speaker A: On Mondays at school a group of us always talk about whatever movies
we saw at the weekend. On Saturdays I often get together with my classmates and
we see all the latest releases together. I can’t remember the last time I saw a film with
my parents - we just don’t have much in common any more.
Speaker B: My parents are both teachers so you’d imagine I’d have no trouble at all
academically. When I was little it was great because we had a really great
relationship. But nowadays all we seem to do is argue and that causes a lot of conflict
between us, so I don’t really feel I can go to them for help. My friends aren’t much
help either as they’ve all got the same problem. Thank goodness I get on really well
with my tutor at university. She’s very approachable and, if I’m struggling with an
assignment, I find her advice really helps me.
Speaker C: My parents are quite old so I feel as though they’re out of touch with the
modern world. They don’t seem to have any idea of what things cost. I’m hoping to
get a car in the next few months but I’ll be taking my older brother along to help. We
used to fight a lot when we were growing up but there’s a really close bond between
us now. He’s already had a few cars so I’m sure he’ll be a great help.
Speaker D: I play the violin and the piano and my grandad is a great cello player. A
lot of my friends at school listen to all the popular bands and singers, but my tastes
are totally different. I prefer classical music and they just don’t understand it at all.
Luckily Grandad shares my taste, so we often buy CDs and talk about them together.

Maria: Oh, not bad. And you?
Dave: Oh, I’m doing okay, but school has been really hectic these days, and I haven’t

Joe: Hello. I’d like some information about French courses, please.
Woman: Certainly. Beginners classes are on Wednesdays, other classes are on
Mondays or Fridays.
Joe: I’m a beginner and I’m going to France on holiday. I want to speak to people in
shops and read information in museums and other places.
Woman: Do ‘French for Tourists’ then. It’ll be better than our Business class and
you want more than French Conversation.
Joe: Great. I can only come in the evening.
Woman: Fine, it starts at half past six, there’s a break at quarter past seven and
you go on until half past eight. Joe: Is it a big class?
Woman: We never have fewer than nine students or more than fifteen and .. . let

III. HIỆU QUẢ CỦA VIỆC THỰC HIỆN BIỆN PHÁP TRONG THỰC TẾ DẠY
HỌC
1. Trước khi sử dụng biện pháp
- Giáo viên và học sinh chưa chưa có nhiều tài liệu để luyện nghe và ra đề kiểm tra
theo chủ đề.
- Bài kiểm tra Nghe 15 phút lần 1 lớp 11 chưa có sự liên kết với chủ đề các bài học,
đề kiểm tra cịn q khó so với năng lực của học sinh.
2. Sau khi sử dụng biện pháp
- Tôi đã sử dụng bài nghe theo chủ đề Relationships để thiết kế đề kiểm tra 15 phút
cho học sinh 11B4. Kết quả so sánh giữa bài kiểm tra Nghe 15 phút lần 1 và lần 2 như
sau:

IV. KẾT LUẬN
1. Ý nghĩa của biện pháp
- Biện pháp là sự đổi mới trong kiểm tra, đánh giá, hướng đến đánh giá đúng năng lực
học sinh.
- Biện pháp cịn có thể sử dụng như một nguồn tài liệu tham khảo để giáo viên phát
triển kĩ năng nghe cho học sinh

- Tôi mong muốn biện pháp này sẽ được áp dụng rộng rãi, đa dạng hơn cho năm học
tiếp theo để học sinh có thể phát triển kĩ năng Nghe theo chủ đề.
-Tổ bộ mơn có kế hoạch để xây dựng và phát triển tài liệu luyện nghe bám sát chủ đề
bài học chương trình sách giáo khoa thí điểm lớp 11, cũng như lớp 10 và lớp 12.
- Tôi rất mong nhận được những ý kiến đóng góp của các nhà giáo để đề tài được
hoàn thiện hơn.
