Old lesson - Ask Ss to show some flags about countries on the world they collected. - Comment and choose the most beautiful to give a present. 3. New lesson - Lead in the new lesson: Unit 1- Lesson 1(1.2.3) * Look, listen and repeat. - Ask Ss to identify the characters in the picture on page 6. - Set the scene: “you are going to listen to Mai and Trung talk about where they live.” - Play the recording and asks Ss to listen to the tape twice. - Ask Ss to listen and repeat in chorus two times. - Pre-teach some new word: + live + floor + flat + address - Ask them to practice in pairs - Call some pairs to practice - Have whole class repeat all the phrases a few times to reinforce their pronunciation. * Point and say - Have Ss look at the example on their book - Play the tape for Ss to listen to the example - Ask the class to repeat 2 times in chorus.
