d. Động từ hai vần: vần thứ hai
được nhấn mạnh
( có dấu trọng âm) tận cụng bằng
một phụ âm, trước phụ âm có một
nguyên âm, chúng ta cũng gấp đôi
phụ âm rồi thêm đuôi -ing

in, at, on, in front of, behind, between, to…
1.At: dùng cho một địa điểm xác định:
Ex: At home, at school, at my house….
2.On: ở trên
Ex: on the table, on the way. on the river
3.In: (ở trong)
Ex: In the box, in the village, in the class.
1. in fron of: ( đằng trước): chỉ không gian
Ex: in front of my house there is ayard.
5. Behind: ( đằng sau): chỉ không gian
Ex: behind of my house is a garden.
*after: (sau) chỉ về thời gian hay thứ tự
Ex: What do you do after school?
2. Between: (giữa): hai người hoặc hai vật
Ex: I sit between Lan and Nga.
3. To ( đến/ tới): dùng sau động từ chỉ sự
chuyển động

Ex: He goes to school.
4. Opposite ( đối diện)

I . Comparative adjective ( so sánh hơn
của tính từ)
1. Short adjectives (So sánh hơn của
tính từ ngắn)
Tính từ ngắn là tính từ chỉ có một vần
Dạng so sánh tương đối được dùng khi
chúng ta so sánh giữa 2 người , hai vật
hoặc 2 sự việc.

* Cách lập: Short adj +est + than
Ex: My brother is taller than me.
This table is higher than that
one.
=>S1 + be + short adj +er + than +
S2
* Cách thêm – er
- Thông thường chúng ta thêm – er vào
sau tính từ.
Eg: small -> smaller
- Tính từ tận cùng bằng “e” câm,
chúng ta chỉ thêm – r .
Eg: large -> larger , wide -> wider
-Tính từ tận cùng bằng một phụ âm ,
trước phụ âm là một nguyên âm,
chúng ta gấp đôi phụ âm rồi thêm “er”
Eg; big -> bigger , thin -> thinner
- Tính từ hai vần tận cùng bằng “ – y ,
-ow, -er, -le hay –et” đựơc áp dụng
quy tắc này. ( trường hợp với - Y , nếu
trước - Y là một phụ âm, chúng ta đổi
– Y thành i rồi thêm – er)
