Suppose the lab instructs you to use 172.16.0.0/16 for most of your addresses. They will
likely tell you to use certain addresses in some places, and let you pick other addresses
yourself. Record all the addresses quickly in a hand-drawn chart similar to the one below
for easy reference and to prevent overlaps:
172.16.0.0
0 32 64 96 128 160 192 224 256

Then below the line (probably at an angle) you can write in the IP address, the router and
interface. For example, where the arrow is located you might write:
172.16.48.0/24 R1 loopback 0
Do this for all addresses given to keep track of them.
