Tet is a traditional festival in Viet Nam.

Tet is usually held at the end of
January lunar year.

Before Tet, people clean up, decorate their
house, go to the Tet market to buy new
clothes, cakes, flowers...

Banh Chung is an indispensable flavor
on Tet, Banh Chung is a traditional
Vietnamese cake.

On New Year’s Eve, there are a lot of
special fireworks display will be
performed in the sky.

On the New Year, people say don’t bring a black
cat because it bring bad luck for the New Year.

At Tet, people wishes each other good luck,
children get lucky money, everyone gathered
together to eat family meal.

There is one kind of tree that every year
every family has, it’s peach blossom. In the
North, people welcome New Year with peach
