LESSON 1: GETTING STARTED - LISTEN AND READ
I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to talk about the places
in their neighborhood, understand how to use the Present perfect tense with “Since &
For”

III. PROCEDURES:

1/ Warm-up: (8’)
- Show pictures about places in the neighborhood.
I. Getting started:

- Lead to the lesson.
2/ Presentation: (15’)
- Set the scene: Nam and Na are talking about the place
where they live. But Na is new there.
- Introduce vocabulary:

- Have students do the exercise 2 on the page 64.

parcel, know some places or activities in the neighborhood.
