I am currently living with my family in a small 3-storey house in B1, Bac Cuong, Lao Cai
city. My house is located in the new center of the city, so it is quite convenient for living,
trading and entertainment activities.
Entering the house, on the first floor, it has a small, cozy living room with a sofa and a Tivi
where my whole family can watch shows together. There is one kitchen and one guest
bedroom also on this floor.
The second floor is my bedroom, the common room and the daughter's bedroom. This is
my favorite part of my house, because this is the area where we spend most of our time
playing, resting, relaxing and chatting together after a long day of hard work. The furniture
here is simply decorated, mainly toys of little girls.
The third floor is an area for worshiping rooms and a place to dry clothes, a balcony for
growing flowers and vegetables.
Although our house is not big, it is always warm and full of cheerfull, a place where I look
forward to returning to after every working day.

Health is the most important thing for everyone. People say you can buy different things
but you can't buy your health. Therefore, I always try to take care and improve my health.
There are many ways to protect our health. For me,
Firstly, I always go to bed early before 11pm and wake up before 7am, sleep for 8 hours
every day. That helps me always keep my mind awake and work well.
Secondly, regular exercise is the thing that I have maintained for a long time. Every week,
I spend at least 3 days, 1 hour per day to play sports such as: running, badminton, ...
Finally, always keep my mind positive by reading books, listening to music or hanging out

with friends, ... helps me balance my life after hard working days and improve my health
spirit.

bản thân.
Có rất nhiều cách để bảo vệ sức khỏe. Đối với tôi:
Điều thứ nhất, tôi luôn đi ngủ sớm trước 11h đêm và thức dậy trước 7h sáng, ngủ đủ 8 tiếng mỗi ngày. Điều đó
giúp tơi ln giữ cho đầu óc tỉnh táo và làm việc tốt hơn.
Thứ hai, tập thể dục đều đặn là điều mà tơi ln duy trì lâu nay. Mỗi tuần, tơi dành ít nhất 3 ngày, mỗi ngày 1 tiếng
để chơi các môn thể thao như: chạy, đánh cầu lông, ...
Cuối cùng, việc luôn giữ tinh thần lạc quan bằng cách đọc sách, nghe nhạc hay đi chơi với bạn bè,… giúp tôi cân
bằng cuộc sống sau những ngày làm việc mệt mỏi và nâng cao sức khỏe tinh thần của mình.

I am currently living and working in Lao Cai city, which is a very young city, belonging to
a mountainous border province and 265 km from Hanoi.
Lao Cai is famous for many beautiful scenes and many tourist attractions, such as: Sa Pa,
Bảo Hà Temple, Hoang Lien National Park, so on.
In which, Sa Pa is the most famous place. Located more than 30 km from Lao Cai city
center, at 1500 - 1800 m above sea level. The climate here is fresh and cool all year round,
from 15 to18 degrees Celsius. Recently in winter we can also enjoy the snow-covered
scenery of Sapa.
Sapa is also famous for the wild beauty of the Northwest mountains: terraced fields,
waterfalls, ….
Besides, tourists can also explore the customs, traditions, and cultural beauty of ethnic

Trong đó, Sapa là địa điểm nổi tiếng nhất. Nằm cách trung tâm thành phố Lào Cai hơn 30 km, ở độ cao 1500 1800 m so với mực nước biển. Khí hậu ở đây trong lành, mát mẻ quanh năm từ 15 - 18 độ C. Gần đây vào mùa
đơng chúng ta cịn có thể thưởng thức khung cảnh tuyết phủ trắng xóa nơi này.

My topic today is EVERYDAY LIFE
Currently I am working at CDC Lao Cai. I have been working there for 9 years.
Like other office workers, I come to the office and start work at 7 am and leave work at 5
pm. My job is to organize training courses for the medical staff of hospitals and other
medical facilities. However, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, most of our
training courses are currently being conducted via Zoomeeting software.
When I have free time, I often go to sports, hang out with friends. I'm not the type of
person who likes to party, but I like to make friends, talk to people and have many good
friends.
Nowadays, due to being quite busy with study, I don’t have much freetime. I often stay at

Most of today's diseases such as cancer, obesity, blood fat, heart disease, .... all originate
from the food and drinks that we consume every day.
To prevent these diseases, we should choose organic foods and cook at home. Should eat
more green vegetables, fruits and fish instead of red meat such as pork, beef...
Use as little oil and sugar as possible in cooking. Besides, you should choose to drink
water, fruit juice instead of coffee, beer, wine... A glass of fruit juice a day also will help
smooth skin.

I’m gonna talk about Learning English.
Nowadays, people all know that English is the most popular language all over the world.
Along with global integration, learning English plays an important role.
For example, with this course, i understand that English is a conditional subject, I have to
meet the requirements of English to continue studying. That's why I spent a lot of time,
studying seriously to improve my English.
I tried to learn new words, listen to English music, study English with my daughter,... just
to give myself more motivation to study English better.
But I have to admit that this is a difficult subject for me. Especially at the end of the year,

about the economy, I am not very confident.
From my understanding, I am sure that the economy is one of the most important factors
in the development of a country. Simply, economics is the relationship between buying and
selling, the main purpose of which is to make a profit.
That means, my selling of some items also contributes to the country's economy as it
makes profit. In other words, if the economic capacity of each individual is good, the

Good morning/afternoon/evening,
My name is Hoan and my full name is PHAM VAN HOAN. I’m 33 years old. I’m from
Lao Cai province.
My topic today is Travel
I really love travelling. Because while travelling, I have the opportunity to discover
different cultures and countries which helps me enrich my knowledge and experience.
Travelling also gives me the chance to relax and reduce stress.
The most favourite place to me to travel to is Sa Pa. I normally, travel with my family on
holidays, summer vocation,… or whenever we have freetime.
Sa Pa is located more than 30 km from Lao Cai city center and very famous for the wild
beauty of the Northwest mountains, such as: terraced fields, waterfalls, …. I love the
climate here. It is fresh and cool all year round from 15 to18 degrees Celsius. I am so
happy whenever my family and I go to Sapa
This year, due to the impact of the covid-19, to ensure the safety of ourselves and the
community, travelling is also much restricted.
I hope next year, the epidemic is under control, and I will be able to travel more places.

Tơi thực sự thích đi du lịch. Bởi vì trong khi đi du lịch, tơi có cơ hội khám phá các nền văn hóa và quốc gia khác
nhau, điều này giúp tôi làm giàu thêm kiến thức và kinh nghiệm của mình. Đi du lịch cũng giúp tơi có cơ hội thư
giãn và giảm căng thẳng.
Nơi tơi thích đi du lịch nhất là Sa Pa, bình thường tơi hay đi cùng gia đình vào những dịp lễ, tết,… hoặc bất cứ khi
nào rảnh rỗi.
Sa Pa nằm cách trung tâm thành phố Lào Cai hơn 30 km và rất nổi tiếng với vẻ đẹp hoang sơ của vùng núi Tây
Bắc như: ruộng bậc thang, thác nước,…. Tôi yêu khí hậu ở đây. Nơi đây trong lành và mát mẻ quanh năm từ 15
đến 18 độ C. Tôi rất hạnh phúc mỗi khi tơi và gia đình đến Sapa.
Năm nay, do ảnh hưởng của bão số 19 nên để đảm bảo an toàn cho bản thân và cộng đồng, việc đi lại cũng bị hạn
chế nhiều.
Tôi hy vọng năm sau, dịch bệnh được kiểm sốt, và tơi sẽ có thể đi du lịch nhiều nơi hơn.

TOPIC 12: Spare time, leisure, entertainment
Good morning/afternoon/evening,
My name is Hoan and my full name is PHAM VAN HOAN. I’m 33 years old. I’m from
Lao Cai province. I am married and have been working at CDC Lao Cai for 9 years.
My topic today is leisure
I don't have much free time, especially at the end of the year, due to my work and study
also are very busy.
When I have free time, I often play sports, hang out with friends. I found that hanging out
with friends is one of my great pastimes. It always help me relaxing myself after a long
hard working day.
Sometimes, I also travel with my family during the holidays, or join friends' parties, go to

karaoke on weekends.
Now, due to being quite busy with study, I don't have much freetime. I often stay at home
and attend classes most of the evenings. I hope that after finishing the course, I will have
more time to spend with family and friends.

tiêu khiển tuyệt vời của tơi. Nó ln giúp tơi thư giãn bản thân sau một ngày dài làm việc mệt mỏi.
Thỉnh thoảng, tôi cũng đi du lịch với gia đình trong những ngày lễ, hoặc tham gia các bữa tiệc của bạn bè, đi hát
karaoke vào cuối tuần.
Hiện tại, do khá bận rộn với việc học nên tôi không có nhiều thời gian rảnh. Tơi thường ở nhà và tham gia các lớp

TOPIC 13:
I'm learning to play guitar and I'm really love this instruments. I think it's a great activity
to do especially when you're feeling stressed or need some time to relax.
Playing guitar is really enjoyable because there are always new things for you to learn and
you can play any song on a guitar instrument by your own style. If you practice it
regularly, you can play some music after only a few weeks
This experience is rewarding because it's hard to learn but not too challenging. Besides,
instead of feeling like you have wasted your time, you may find that you have
accomplished a nice mission and been proud of it. After a time practicing guitar everyday,

my fingers are getting faster and faster on it.

Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday. Those days are on a row, that means Thanksgiving is
from November 4th to 5th, while Black Friday is from November 23rd to 29th. Almost all

shopping season has started. We have the Monday following Thanksgiving is known in the

similar promotional offers.
TOPIC 15:
On the date of May 30th , 2018, the Hanoi City Tour double-decker bus was officially put
into use to serve domestic and foreign tourists wishing to visit the streets and famous
location of Ha Noi capital.
The double-decker bus is a bus that has two storeys or decks. The design of the bus
reflects the cultural features of the capital.
It is to introduce a new interesting service to both domestic and foreign tourists. Besides, it
is an effective way to promote the development of Hanoi's tourism industry, Hanoi City
tour goes through 25 streets and stopes at 13 places for visitors to easily visit 30 Unique
attractions of Hanoi.
The bus is equipped with a system of descriptions of landmarks and automatic translation
into many different languages, help visitors discover and experience Ha Noi, the
thousand-years-old capital city of Viet Nam

After a short time, the double-decker bus has received many positive feedbacks from
people, especially from international tourists.
TOPIC 16:
Earth Hour is an environmental movement taking place annually and always attracts a lot
of attention from the Vietnamese people as well as the whole world.
Earth Hour is an international event launched by the World Wildlife Fund, to encourage
turning off electrical devices for 60 minutes (from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm local time) on last
Saturday of March every year.
Earth Hour was first held in 2007 in Sydney (Australia) with only 2 million participants.
However, thanks to the media, the number of people participating in this movement
around the world is increasing.
Earth Hour 2021 was launched by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) with the theme
"Speak up for nature" to communicate and raise public awareness about the relationship
between humans and nature and the causes of diseases, especially the Covid-19 pandemic;
encouraging ideas of community building, sustainable development, biodiversity
protection and climate change response.
TOPIC 17:
Da Lat is the city of dreamers.
The climate in Da Lat is really moderate. The air here is fresh and cool. The weather is
very cold in the morning, the sun shines lightly in the afternoon, in the evening it is getting
colder and sometimes have unexpected rain.
Thanks to the favorable natural condition, Da Lat is also known as the place with the most
beautiful flowers. The fields are planted with a variety of flowers, making the place
looking like a paradise to live in. Besides, Da Lat also has famous places such as: Tuyen
Lam Lake, Bao Dai Palace, Lang Biang mountain.
So those above explains why Da Lat is called this city for dreameer? Because, the scene of
Da Lat was filled with poetic moments: early morning mist, pink rays of sunlight and
fleeting rains. All create a Dalat, unlike anywhere else.
TOPIC 18:

Music is one of the most popular forms of entertainment today. Music has a great impact
on the formation and development of people. Besides, music also relieves sadness, reduces
stress and brings joy to people.
The world would be very dull without music. There is music in the movement of the wind,
the sea, the trees; there is also music in the songs of birds... Music dispels human sorrow
and fills our minds with joy. Turning on our favorite songs and really listening without
doing anything else, we see how valuable life is.
The simple things created by music still shine in our souls, directing us to positive
thoughts, and are magical encouragements for us to become more beautiful and brighter.


TOPIC 19:
Body language is a form of non-verbal communication. Body language is about using
behaviour to communicate. The forms of behaviour used in body language include body
posture, gestures, facial expressions, and eye movements.
Body language expresses the attitude or state of mind of a person. Although body language
is non-verbal, it can reveal much about your feelings and meaning to others and how
others reveal their feelings toward you.
Body language does not have a grammar system and must be interpreted broadly, instead
of having an absolute meaning, so it is not a language, and is simply termed as a
"language" due to popular culture.
Though body language is an effective form of communication, everyone has to be very
careful while using it. Sometimes, body languages can destroy your entire effort. If our
body language is not appropriate, we may miss out some of the best opportunities in our
lifes.
