A.The aims of the lesson
1. Knowledges
+ The aims: By the end of the lesson , Ss will be able to listen a public
announcement for specific information.
+ Vocabulary: - Words about clothing
+ Grammar: - Present simple, present continuous, passive
continues to the present. The passive (review): be + past participle
Write activities, interesting places which ss know or are on holiday.
2. Skills : Listening, writing skills and grammar
3. Attitude: - The Ss are excited about listening announcement about a lost little girl
and some types of clothing.
B. Preparations
1.Teacher : posters, computer, projector, speaker
2. Students: Unit 1 Listen
C. Methods:
- Model-Talk-Practice, individual work, pair work
- Some techniques can be used: Networks, Matching

III.New lesson
1. Pre-listening :(10’)
- Introduce : “In this lesson , you will hear a public
announcement about a lost little girl called Mary .
First you name , the clothes in the pictures
- Explain the clothes in the pictures :
a) A: floral pants B: blue shorts C: polka dot skirt
(váy ngắn có hoa văn chấm trịn)
b) A: long - sleeved white blouse B: short - sleeved
pink shirt C : short - sleeved white shirt
c) A: Sandals B: boots C: shoes with flowers .
- Have Ss read all of them aloud and copy .
* Predition:

- Ask them to predict Mary,s clothes .
- Write the predictions on the board .
2. While - listening : (17’)
- Turn on the tape ( 2 or 3 times )
- Ask Ss to compare the results they have heard .
- Call on some Ss to read the answers aloud .
- Correct and give correct answers :
a) B : she is wearing blue shorts .
b) A : She is wearing a long – sleeved blouse .
c) C : She is wearing brown shoes .
- Turn on the tape again and ask Ss to check their
results .
3. Post - listening :(10’)
Guide Ss to play game “ Who is she / he ? “
- Call on 1 Student to describe one of their classmates
and ask others to predict .
- Have Ss retell the students they have described

- Call on some Ss to read the answers loudly .
- Correct and give the right answer :
