Summary:
In recent years, construction technology of prestressed concrete sheet pile is
interested in and widely popular. In particular, hydraulic construction with
prestressed sheet pile wall which is retaining wall is used more over .
Related to the structure of this prestressed sheet pile , besides the advantages of
aesthetics and modern, there are some disadvantages. Thesis is based on the
research about prestressed sheet pile working in retaining wall for the Saigon
riverine embankment to clarify the advantages and disadvantages.
Thesis will conduct research about behavior of sheet piles system in weak clay
soil. In particular, the topic presented one case which is large embankment
horizontal displacement. Calculated content is to analysis this contruction and
conduct to design treatmet to ensure embankment stability.
