Lesson 3: LANGUAGE – Pronunciation: Linking between a consonant and a vowel
I.OBJECTIVES:
- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
1. Knowledge:
- Link a final consonant and an initial vowel in connected speech.
- Illustrate the rules for linking between a consonant and a vowel.
- Pronounce linking between a consonant and a vowel.
2. Skills/Competence:
- Listen and pronounce the linking words in connected speech.
- Create a story using linking between a consonant and a vowel.
3. Attitudes/Qualities:
- Be aware of linking between a consonant and a vowel in daily conversations.
-Provide Ss some motivation
- Solve problems and study by themselves.
II. TEACHING AIDS:
1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, sub-board, laptop, speakers, projector.

- Students may lack vocabulary related to “independent” topic.
