Notes:
1. On Purl rows make sure to P into only one loop of the double
yarn overs, dropping the other loop off the needle.
2. If there are not at least 18 stitches left after last flower repeat, do
not work another flower, just K to the last 3 sts, inc. K2
3. Incr - K into the front and back of st
4. This is a triangular shawl and is knit from side to side.
Intermediate rows: for first half of shawl
Row 1: K across to last 3 sts, inc, K2 (right side)

Row 2: K3, P to last 3 sts, K3 (wrong side)
First Flower rows: for first half of shawl
Row 1 - K5, *K2 tog, yo twice, K13** (see note 2 above), repeat
from * to ** across to last 3 sts, inc, K2
Row 2 – K3, P across (work only 1 loop of the double yarn overs,
let the other loop drop off the needle unworked. This will make
a large hole) to last 3 sts, K3
Row 3 – K4, *K2 tog, yo twice, K1, yo twice, K2 tog, K10**, repeat
from * to ** across until you have done these repeats over all
the flowers of previous row, then K to last 3 sts, inc, K2
Row 4 – Repeat row 2
Row 5 – K7, *yo twice, K2 tog, K13** repeat from * to ** over all
established flowers, then K across to last 3 sts, inc, K2

Second Flower Rows: for first half of shawl
Row 1 - K12, *K2 tog, yo twice, K13** (see note 2 above), repeat
from * to ** across to last 3 sts, inc, K2

Row 2 – K across (wrong side)
Row 3 – K1, inc, K1 (4 sts)
Row 4 – K across
Row 5 – K1, inc, K2 (5 sts)
Row 6 – K across
Row 7 – K2, inc, K2 (6 sts)
Row 8 – K across
Row 9 – K3, inc, K2 (7 sts)
Row 10 – K3, P1, K3
Row 11 – K to last 3 sts, inc, K2 (8 sts)
Row 12 – K3, P to last 3 sts, K3
Row 13 – K to last 3 sts, inc, K2 (9 sts)
Row 14 – K3, P to last 3 sts, K3
Row 15 – K to last 3 sts, inc, K2 (10 sts)
Row 16 – K3, P to last 3 sts, K3
Row 17 – K to last 3 sts, inc, K2 (11 sts)

Continue by working the following steps.
1 - Work the 6 First Flower Rows
2 – Work the 6 Intermediate Rows
3 – Work the 6 Second Flower Rows
4 – Work the 6 Intermediate Rows
Repeat steps 1-4 until work across needles measures 28” when
slightly stretched then:
Continue working steps 1-4 BUT instead of working increases
at the end of the right side rows, you will now K to the last 4 sts,
K2tog, K2. All wrong side rows will remain as before.
When you get down to 6 sts all your rows will now be K but
continue to decrease every wrong side row until 3 sts remain.

Knit two more rows without decreasing. Bind off.
